Answer:	Yes, this product is very easy to use. Simply buff in and wipe away.

Answer:	This product is intended for cleaning and removing oxidation. If they are new headlights that you are looking to keep protected, we would suggest using one of our spray products, such as ICE Seal N Shine or our Flex Wax!

Answer:	This headlight cleaning product works well with a foam polishing pad on an electric drill to help scrub off the yellow & white oxidation. The polish is quite thin and will splatter, low RPM works well. If your headlights are in poor condition, you may need to use 2000-3000 grit wet sandpaper before polishing because this is a finishing and cleaner polish. *ZFE has an inexpensive drill polishing kit w/pads (less than $10 US) and it works well with Turtle Wax and other plastic polish products.
Question:	does this also seals and UV protects? how often would you apply this
Answer:	I used this product on a 1998 Subaru Outback headlights and if you follow the instructions, it works quite well. The UV protection is adequate. I did follow up and reapplied after 6 months. The product performed as promised as do all Turtlewax products.

Answer:	We recommend between 55-85 degrees for best results. If it is colder, we do not suggest using in freezing temperatures.

Answer:	If you are asking how long the bottle of product will last, I have only used mine once but there are several more applications left in the bottle. If you are asking how long does the effect of the treatment last, I cleaned my headlamps about two months ago and they are still clean looking. However, I believe a tiny amount of the yellowing has reappeared.

Question:	How many lenses will the kit restore, and has anyone called for another kit using the Lifetime Warranty
Answer:	I purchased 2 kits and had enough materials to easily do all 3 vehicles; probably could have done a 4th.It has been about 18 months since I did the first, and it still looks great.The final step, the Clear Coat, will harden in the opened bottle over time.I suggest using up the entire kit within 2-4 months.
Question:	Should you apply this product indoors or in the shade
Answer:	It says to either apply in the shade or in an enclosed area. I applied it outside on an over cast day. An hour after I applied it the Sun came out. Two hours after that it rained. The application survived and I haven't had any problems even though my conditions were not advisable.
Question:	How long do the results last
Answer:	While this kit did an excellent job of restoring my headlights, it took me about an hour to do each side as I tend to be very meticulous when maintaining my vehicle. I took extra care to ensure the product was applied as designed and that application process achieved excellent results. However, my lenses started losing the clear coat finish after about 12 months. My vehicle is garaged kept 7x24 (with climate control) and only driven about 6,000 miles per year.

Step 1 - Apply Surface Activator

Wash the headlight lenses and then spray Surface Activator--a proprietary surface corrosion softener only from Sylvania, generously onto each headlight lens until they are completely covered. Let this liquid sit on each lens for about 30 seconds. Immediately, you’ll see the yellow gunk start to break down. Wash completely with water to remove loosened corrosion.

Step 2 - Sand And Polish

Use the wet sanding technique described in your instruction sheet, using the 400, 1000 and 2000 grits and paper included in the box. This will remove corrosion. Apply the clarifying compound using even circular motions. Rinse and dry. Reapply the Surface Activator for 30 seconds and rinse with water. You’ll be amazed at how clear the lenses will already be.

Insure all moisture is removed from on and around the headlight lens. You’ll then apply the UV Block Clear Coat. It’s simple. Just apply as instructed in smooth, even applications. This UV Block Clear coat is a specially formulated polymer coating with active and passive UV blockers. This is the component that gives you long-lasting results.

Before and After Results

The left side of the headlight lens is hazy and sun damaged, inhibiting your headlight from functioning properly. Question:	Has turtle wax addressed the leaking container issue
Answer:	I purchased the Mothers product as a follow-on or maintenance product to keep my headlight lenses clear after using the brilliant 3M kit that uses the drill, foam pad and sand paper. While Mothers suggests this "clarifies, protects, and maintains", my interest is really only in the later 2 aspects of protect and maintain. The 3M kit worked so well for clarifying the lens, that I wouldn't consider switching should the need arise again. What convinced me to at least try this product was the inclusion of the UV inhibitors. Could be that this is marketing nonsense that I've fallen for; but, thought I'd give it a try. I apply this by hand once a month per instructions. Seems like a very fine polish unlike, say, the polish included in the Turtle Wax kit which you could see and feel cutting plastic even when using it with hand application. If you're looking for a fine maintenance polish then this one seems like a good fit.

Answer:	This product is a cleaner wax so it will remove some, if not all, of the existing wax. If the touch up paint were applied correctly, then the Mequiar's will NOT remove the touch up paint, in my experience. I hope this helps.

Wash

Begin with Carnauba Wash & Wax. Pour 2 oz. of wash for each gallon of water. Rinse car with water to remove loose dirt. Wash car with foaming suds using a wash mitt, microfiber towel or sponge. Rinse clean and dry.

Wax

Next, for longer lasting protection use Carnauba Paste Cleaner Wax. Using a damp applicator or microfiber towel, apply a thin layer of wax to one section at a time. Let dry to a haze. Remove with a clean, dry microfiber towel and buff to a high shine.

In-Between Washes

Answer:	I'm in Florida, and the truck is kept outside. Water beads four months after waxing, but I usually re-wax anyway. Great wax you can use in sunlight.
Question:	Will this remove 2000+ Grit wet sanding scratches
Answer:	Not the container I recently received. The container I received was awash with what I perceived to be a portion of the contents of the container, i.e. the ceramic spray wax. I would guess that at least (+-) one ounce of the liquid wax was contained within the plastic shipping container, requiring a “wipe down” of the container. I was under the impression that the leaking container was was the result of damage incurred during shipping. As for the wax itself, I have yet to use the product.
Question:	How is this different than the turtle wax t-415 premium grade rubbing compound
Answer:	This will give you 12 months protection s long as cured for 12 hours. This is a easier application of a coating.
Question:	This Ice Speed Compound, or a clay bar
Answer:	You can, but you will get maximum longevity by using the ceramic first. You should not mix polymer sealants and ceramics. I would go with 2 coats of the ceramic instead, 24 hours between each coat! I love this stuff! Crazy slick and shiny!

Answer:	I would put another layer of Hybrid Ceramic coating on after the first layer has cured after 24 hr to get up to a one year protection. After that start using the Wet Wax or the 3 n 1 Detailer spray for additional protection.

Answer:	It depends on the tail light and how it was "smoked" and how much oxidation or deterioration there is. Answer:	I'm not sure why you would use this on cell phone screen. Mothers is a great product and worked great on my head lights which are plastic not glass which is what most cell phone screens are made of. If your screen is damaged you might want to have the screen replaced. You could check mothers web site for more information and they'll have a phone for there support team. hope this helped.
Question:	How long can I expect this to last
Answer:	You could but you'll spend a lot of time rubbing it to get maximum clarity. It is a very fine polish so I find it most useful to start off with a regular auto polish to get off most of the oxidation and then finish it with the PowerPlastic to maximize the clarity. I use a polish attachment on a drill to speed up the process. Once a month seems a little excessive, but maybe if you do it that frequently the oxidation won't build up much and hand rubbing will be adequate.
