Answer:	Our raw milk is pasteurized to meet US and NZ legal requirements for sale to the public. This means its heat treated to 72C (161.6F) for 15 seconds, which is standard for dairy products. Ultra Pasteurized products are usually treated to 280F in order to kill all of the bacteria , which allows the product to be shelf stable in liquid format. This product has not had that level of "Ultra" heat treatment.

Answer:	The current website (5/2/2019) for Meyenberg Dairy states that they buy from farms in West Coast U.S.A.. They do not mention other areas or states. They show a map of where the farms are. We view these dairies as business partners, and in some cases we have a decades long relationship. While practices may vary depending on size and location, all our dairies are passionate about the humane treatment of their goats and providing high quality goat milk... " They state they do not give the goats bovine growth hormones, steroids or antibiotic. It is unclear if any of these could be in the feed. They are not sourcing milk or the feed from certified organic dairies/farms (all U.S. Organic Certified products are non-GMO by definition.) They state the goats get hay, grain, water & pasture. Many of the dairies are in the agribusiness California Central Valley, so drift of herbicides, insecticide , etc. could certainly occur from neighboring farms & fields & end up in the grain or pasture. They also say they periodically check these partner dairies to insure "best practices."

Answer:	May I pontificate a bit: Just want to add, that BPA is not the only threatening plastic derivative and additive in packaging. It has just gotten the most publicity. I was informed of this two years ago by a knowledgeable professional who boiled all the science down to say, "just do not use any plastics to store any of your food". As a hint for anyone I could help: I wrap everything in Parchment paper and THEN insert it into plastic baggies for ease, especially when traveling. I am open to other suggestions, but it is cheaper and easier than lugging glass bottles/jars around, although I do A LOT of that too. Back to the 50's. Chrystal.

Answer:	I think 2 quarts (one gallon). Two scoops per 8 ounces of water is typical. I use one scoop to make it go farther. So kind of like skim milk which is equal parts cow's milk and water. Hope that helps. Yes goats milk is expensive. A can of goats milk is on average $3.50 (that's a can of about 8 ounces). Powder goats milk saves you a little bit.

Answer:	I think it is a little sweet but not as sweet as breastmilk. After two months of breastfeeding we switched to this formula and my baby liked it just fine. We also did not have any digestive issues (he’s never had a lactose intolerance).

Answer:	It does have dairy in it, but I would definitely put it in the "hypoallergenic", high-quality category. My daughter had to be on Elecare because she couldn't have dairy or soy without getting a big, raised rash. After she was on that for several months, I switched her to the Happy Baby formula and she LOVES it and tolerates it well. I wondered if she could go to a different dairy formula and tried it, but the reaction to dairy came back. So, we are happily still using the Happy Baby formula and won't use anything else. It has 2 probiotics that help break up the milk protein and allows for easier digestion. I researched many organic formulas and this is by far the best option out there. I also have a friend whose son can't have dairy formula but he tolerates this well. It is amazing formula! (I do not work for Happy Baby or have family that does or get any compensation for sharing my opinion.)

Answer:	It depends on how often your baby eats and how much formula he/she drinks. 1 scoop+ 2 ounces of water, 2 scoops + 4 ounces of water, 3 scoops + 6 ounces of water, etc. For a newborn who eats very little, your formula will last a lot longer than an older baby. I mix 3 scoops with 6 ounces of water for my daughter, every 4 hours, and a container lasts me 4-5 days. (She is 11 months old and sleeps 8 hours through the night, so she is not eating during that time).
