Answer:	The white keys are 22mm wide (at the base) by 142mm long, making them very slightly narrower and shorter than conventional piano keys (24mm wide by 154mm long), but not as small as some other common electronic keyboards and MIDI controllers.

Answer:	If you mean are the keys weighted to feel like a real piano action, no. You're only going to find that in digital pianos and workstations costing much more.
Question:	What type of power plug does it need? Voltage and amperage
Answer:	It has a 9V 1A power input jack, 5.5mm barrel, 2.5mm pin, positive on the pin. It does NOT come with an adapter. But it can also draw power from USB. I don't know what the USB power requirement is, but I don't think it's more than 1A. My little battery-powered USB host tone generator doesn't have any problem powering it.

Answer:	Sorry, I don't know. I use Ableton 9 Lite. One of the product reviewers (Nelson Cartier, the first of 10 reviews) lists some software that it is compatible with and he mentions FL Studio as being compatible.

Answer:	It does not have the old school 5 pin DIN midi ports but the USB port is USB midi and works the same as the 5 pins. Actually better because you don't need a midi interface and it uses one cable instead of 2. It can also power your midi controller via USB, assuming your midi device supports that. I was skeptical moving from. 5 pin midi to USB midi but now that I have I no longer use the 5 pin cables if possible.

Answer:	I've had my casio for over a year now and have had no problems with the keys. I like the piano very much.
Question:	Would some who studied classical piano for many years be happy with the action as practice keyboard? Most I’ve tried are too spongey weird weighting
Answer:	I connect my WK660 to my computer via usb cable, and immediately it is recognized by Windows. I use FL Studio, so I just go to MIDI settings and select Casio in the list for output/input MIDI. Thats it. THen I can use my KW660 as a MIDI controller
Question:	When the controller is placed on a desk, what is the height (precisely measured if possible) from the desk surface to the top of the white keys
Answer:	It has piano-style keys but they are not weighted.
Question:	Are the keys full sized, like a real piano keyboard, or are they smaller, like many other keyboards
Answer:	No, it does not. The only way to add voice would be to plug in to an external amp/speaker that also had a microphone. The external device would also need an output to a recording device.

Answer:	no sounds are packaged with this keyboard, it is just an usb keyboard, you will need a computer that has usb connection in order to have the keys make sounds, there is no speaker in there, just keys and usb port, you will use the computer to make sounds through the computer, you will another type of keyboard (that has a speaker in it).

Answer:	Very heavy and uneven weighting. Can't get a true, steady beat which I need to use it with Finale. Do not recommend if that's your goal.

Answer:	it comes with the usb to the keyboard cord which is all the keyboard needs. since it takes the power from the pc it connects to.

Answer:	Yes-it works great with garage band.
Question:	Do the keys press smooth? Are the keys actually "semi-weighted" or "like semi-weighted" synth keys
Answer:	Not weighted, but as a lifelong pianist these keys are much better than the cheap non-weighted keyboards, I'd say semi-weighted for sure. Perhaps the other answer on here wasn't as experienced with technique to know the difference between this and the ones that are completely non-weighted. More control here without a doubt.

Question:	Does the 8x8 grid of soft buttons send note on and note off for each press? Is it a fixed velocity, or no velicity at all
Answer:	The specs seem to say it has stereo input so with a splitter cable, 2 mics should be able to plug in to record 2 channels simultaneously. I am speculating as I dont have the device, I am just looking to buy one.

Answer:	You probably need the tascam dr-40, but what I do is patch an adapter into it. I have 3 different adapters one has 3 xrl inputs another has 2 and another I use to convert to one xlr.

Answer:	Honestly, I was not impressed. I ended up sending it back. The xoom products were much better for an external mic. I will say though, the best lavalier mic recorder I found was the Tascam DR-10L

Answer:	I owned the Keystation 88 II, which has the semi-weighted feel. So, rather than guess at the answer to your question, I just checked the M-Audio website. Their description says that the Keystation 49 MK3 has a synth action. That type of action, typically, is a lighter spring feel than the semi-weighted feel. I actually liked the feel,of the 88 II. I owned two of them. One lasted four years. The second unit only one and a half years. I take particularly good care of my equipment. And don’t pound on the keys. However, they both failed far too soon, in my opinion. I have switched to the Nektar brand. Only time will tell about their durability. Good luck with your choice.

Answer:	It's economical, I guess. It gets power via USB, so you'll need a computer or some sort of AC USB charger (No idea of the voltage). It only has one USB out (I think the other might be a through). Thing is, it's really pretty crap in terms of playability. Spend a bit more, you won't regret it.
