I have been to Cornwall a few times before, although not to this particular area. My husband and I planned to travel there in early 2020, but were unable to. I am reading the ingredients and here's what's listed on the package: Idaho potatoes, salt, sunflower oil, nonfat dry milk, monoglycerides, calcium steroyl, lactylate, spice, artificial color, artificial flavor, freshness preserved by sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bisulfite, citric acid, and mixed tocopherols. More than you wanted to know but looks like potatoes - milk, salts, and oils. My little dog who is a rescue, (sweetest dog:) has to take pill and sometimes I give them to her inside a bit of these mashed potatoes. Does not upset her stomach and she's on a special diet. So no, I don't think soy is in this.

Answer:	Would consider them slightly granular with a little flakiness that need butter, water and milk. I never have to salt them and they are delicious. They are the only brand of Idahoan potatoes I ever buy. I also add more milk than they call for because I like them light and creamy! lol

Answer:	Hi, our Traditional Sauce and Tomato and Basil Sauce both contain dehydrated garlic.

Answer:	No meat or dairy products of any kind listed in the jar's ingredients list. I thought they were some of the best jarred sauces I've tasted. For those wanting to cut the sweetness, which I didn't find, add a bit of red wine -- or white will do.

Answer:	I ordered in Feb 2020 and they were glass jars, AND they were packaged so that it was impossible for them to touch each other and break.

Answer:	9g of sugars on the nutrition facts for tomato & basil flavor. Ingredients: Tomato puree (Water, tomato paste), diced tomatoes (tomatoes, citric acid), sugar, etc etc. So since sugar is the 3rd ingredient, that means sugar IS added. It does not indicate what kind of sugar; the front label just claims "all natural." The traditional flavor is only 8g sugar.

Answer:	There's no "use by" date on the cartons. However, I order these about every 6-8 months. Because they're dried potatoes, I would imagine they have a lengthy shelf life. Each carton makes 3-4 servings and my family really likes them. They're quick & easy to fix. After putting the hot water in the carton I do allow them to sit for about 20-minutes to completely absorb all of the water.
Question:	What is the shelf life
Answer:	That is a good question! And to tell the truth I use both depending how soon I need them. Point 1: If I plan to use them in some the next day I use hot tap water. I let these set for about 12 to 24 hours. This aloes the hash brown to full re hydrate. I like to add dryed onions to both ways as well as my seasonings.Point 2: If I decide to use them the same day I use boiling water and I let them set for about a hour. This gives the potatoes a good taste.

Answer:	Listing visible via website panel. Also listed as “vegan” precludes dairy. I am pretty strict but havent seen anything to scare me off. That said FDA is slack in its regulatory duties so who really knows??

Answer:	The label says 1 gram of fiber so you are right for doubting.
Question:	I don't have a microwave. Is there a stovetop heating option
Answer:	I have always made mine this way, and it comes out perfect every time. Put some water in a sauce pan on high and bring it just to a boil. While the water is heating up, empty the soup contents into the plastic bowl. Take the water off as soon as it starts to boil, and pour water into the soup bowl up to the molded in fill line. Give everything a quick swish with spoon and sit the lid on top loosely for a few minutes letting the soup ingredients to combine and cool.

Answer:	520 mg. I have to watch my sodium intake and get this item because it is reasonably low. (I try to stick to about 500 mg per meal.)
