Question:	Anyone have any issues with their recording schedules disappearing? Mine wiped all my schedules
Answer:	Ok I don't have this model but I have another model by same company (HW-150pvr) and it is dumping schedules too. I've had two units over 4 years and it's happened in the past but happening a lot more now. I'm on Amazon to find a replacement because this is unacceptable. I'm thinking Mediasonic is to be avoided.

Answer:	I used a 500GB salvaged out of an old laptop that was totally dead. I ordered a cheap $7.99 ORICO USB3.0 to SATA III 2.5" External Hard Drive Enclosure from Amazon as well to mount it in. Worked perfectly. I've also used a cheap (free) 32GB USB thumb drive that I didn't have any problem with. Got that thumb drive free from a Microcenter computer store.

Answer:	I haven't installed my QFX yet so I don't know what to tell you. Only thing I can think of is that IF Ch.3 is one of your major local TV stations, you might try Ch.4 (assuming that it is NOT one of your major TV stations). In the area that is what has to be done - we can't use Ch.3. You might re-read the instructions again as it is easy to miss something in the first reading. Does the unit come with any troubleshooting help? Sorry I can't help you more.
Question:	my local nbc is 4.1 Will 4.1 show up in the display or is it some funky number
Answer:	I BELIEVE THE DISPLAY WILL SHOW 0401, WHICH IS BASICLY 4.1 BUT BECAUSE OF STATIONS LIKE WJP-WX WHICH IS 33.10 THEY NEED THE EXTRA SPACES AND THE RADIO CHANELS ARE LIKE 33.11 33.12 ETC. YOU ONLY HAVE TO HIT THE NUMBER 4 ON THE REMOTE AND STATION 4.1 WILL BE ON THE TY
Question:	Anyone experiencing lag between audio and visual? On some channels I see this occurring but not on all, anyone know the cause
Answer:	What I have found on a similar device is the audio and video do not match on SD channels unless you use the LPCM (PCM) audio option. Since that is only 2 channel, you will not get 5.1 audio. I did not find the same problem on HD channels, but your mileage may vary. ;)
Question:	How can i order just the remote control for qfx cv-103 digital converterbox
Answer:	I don't know how you would obtain a remote control only, other than getting in touch with the manufacturer of the qfx cv-103 digital converter box itself. If they can't help you maybe they can refer you to someone who can help you. If it is the remote that came with the converter box new, then you might try the place where you bought the qfx originally. I'm thinking this might take a while to resolve. I wish you luck.

Question:	Will a better antenna help in reception? Can you recommend one for indoor(non-portable) use
Answer:	A better antenna does improve efficiency. I've tried several different types of rabbit ears and the like but have had the best success with one of the "leaf antennas" (copy and use this link for Amazon search: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_5?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=leaf+antenna&sprefix=leaf+%2Celectronics%2C252). I use it at work and I am at the outer edge of reception and behind some hills. As one of the other answers stated with digital it is usually there or not. These leaf antennas seem to be able to pull in the weakest stations with not problems. Also, the power amplifier included with some of the versions also makes a difference. If you live with lots of clutter (trees, hills, buildings, etc) try one of the powered ones. Good luck.
Question:	What type of antenna is included? Is it a clip on? Is it two antennas in a "V"? Is it a magnetic base? Is it a single pole antenna
Answer:	I have a telescoping antenna from a previous HDTV OTA tuner that has a heavier and magnetic base, however, it doesn't have any better/worse reception than this "V" antenna, which is so flimsy, each individual antennae isn't strong enough to stay in any fixed "up" position. Because the antenna is removable, pickup a cheap larger HDTV antenna and give it a try.
Question:	I can watch NBC,FOX, CBS via TV antenna/AverTV - very clear pictures, but I get no signal for ABC which I can see clearly on my TV when I connect the antenna directly to the TV. Why?? Answer:	It will drive you crazy trying to find a logical explanation, OR a fix. Had this for a couple of years. GREAT at first, then started losing channels, then died about 6 months ago. Very common to find the same in reviews on other sites. So the good news is, NO contract...the Bad news is, you get to buy a new one every year, that's if you are lucky. Get used to it folks, many electronic devices that used to last for 10 years, now last less than one. But to answer you specifically, it makes no difference. Ran through splitter for the year that it worked, when it quit, I tried direct, new wire, cleaned antenna connections, many hours of work wasted. Not saying some may have used bad splitters, and a temp fix may be lucky for you. For more info, check newegg with 10 times the reviews. It has a %47 total, %28 1 or 2 star and only %16 4 star. Even that is misleading because so many post the review when they first set it up and don't bother when it fails. As much as I enjoyed how well it worked at first, I refuse to pay $50 a year to keep replacing them.
