Answer:	I think it is although it is NOT dishwasher safe. It is a light duty machine with lightweight metal. I just take it apart (takes about 30 seconds) and then hand-wash in dish soap and let air dry.

Answer:	I might use a whetstone to sharpen the blades if they go dull. Should not take much to get a nice edge this way.

Answer:	No, it can't. The grinder are not available for Crude Fiber Food Grinding.
Question:	any difference with the older model
Answer:	The older models have been discontinued, the difference is in the plating of the parts. On both models of Altra I have experienced the same problem and this is poor quality of the cast metal parts which break. And I was not able to get a response from the company to solve my problem with this product.. I do not recommend Altra

Answer:	No where near a pound or hank. I'm guessing 4oz maybe. I've used it to stuff about 30 lbs of finished product so far and have enough to do 7 or 8 lbs more. When the package came I was surprised at how small it was. But there was plenty for my use. I've reordered the TSM Home Pak along with some sheep casings of a different supplier to try different recipes.

Answer:	Don't know about that since the manual says: Don't grind hard food such as bones, nuts, etc. Do not grind ginger and other materials with hard fiber. So my best advice is to exercise caution. However, some reviewers have said that they have in fact been successful grinding small chicken bones.

Sunmile SM-G35 Electric Meat Grinder

As a basic home meat grinder, Sunmile SM-G35 features to 250 rated power and 1000W max locked power. It grinds up to 150 pounds per hour which meets most of home grinding need. ETL certificated.

Install Meat Grinder Correctly

• Install the meat grinder in the correct way helps to make it a long-term use
• All the parts in the head should be installed in order.
• Remember to put the cutting blade after the screw, cutting plates are the next step and the cap installation is the last
• The blade side (also named flat surface) outward when installing the meat grinder. Otherwise, it may keep clogging if wrongly placed the cutting blade.
• Take it apart and double check and re-install it if you find the meat grinder doesn't work properly.

Clean Meat Grinder Correctly

• Use running water to clean all the parts after using it. Running water is enough to sweep away all the remaining meat. Dry it with clothes. Reassemble it for next use.
• Remember that these head parts are made of aluminum and should not be put in the dishwasher. It may cause the coating discoloration due to aluminum oxidation. Only cutting blades and plates are made of stainless steel.
