The cameras my system came with have PoE cable coming off them, which is the same as Ethernet cable, the 'Po' I think stands for 'powered' ethernet, meaning the optional 12v plug need not be connected. I purchased the Zosi ZR-08RN system, 8-cameras connected by ethernet cable (PoE). If not sure, look at the pictures at the top of the description page.

Question:	So I have been reading the reviews for this system and it looks like there are a lot of problems with the dvr connecting to the router
Answer:	Just installed this system (4 channel, hard drive included) and it's connected by wire to my router. No problems at all. All of our cameras are within 50 feet of the DVR and they all have at least 3 wifi signal bars. That's also though walls and floors. We've had no problems with signal or playback. The video quality is also pretty decent for a $200 inclusive system!

Question:	will this camera work with the zosi 4 channel NVR system and can the antenna be replaced with a cable to replace the antenna inside a metal building
Answer:	It depends on what Zosi NVR systembyou have. I bought this one to replace one of my cameras that was damaged in a fire because Zosi said it was compatible. After 3 weeks of going back and forth with Zosi and not having any success, Zosi finally sent me a different model camera which worked just fine. I'd contact Zosi first and go from there.

Answer:	The power adapter should come with this item, the power adapter is listed under what the camera has on it. It is definitely implied that it comes with it because it does not work without it. I am fighting for the adapter, not going to let them get away with this!

Question:	How do you match codes to new cameras when in the instructions it tells you to go to video management button and the NVR doesn’t give you one
Answer:	you need a ethernet cable plug it in the back of the unit and plug the other end on the camera. then you go to your menu and use ipc channel config. then hit search and click on wifi add and your camera's should come up, then you plug it in where you want your camera. make sure you plug the camera power cord in when you are coding it. the go hang it up. hope this helps.
