Answer:	Yes. The product names are VERY CONFUSING so pay careful attention. This is the second gen of the RING DOORBELL, the standard, "entry-level" version of the product. It has a built-in battery, which means, in order to recharge the doorbell, you have to take the entire doorbell off. The RING 2 is the upgraded product, which has a "quick switch" battery. I have 2 batts, keep one charged so I can swap them as needed. RING 3 is the upgraded, new version of RING 2. Essentially the same with a couple new features. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Absolutely.
Question:	Is the door bell connected with screws
Answer:	I assume you are asking about the transmitter (button) which goes outside. The answer is no. You receive a strip of double sided adhesive which sticks the button to your door frame or siding. I thought it came with mounting screws, but it doesn't even have mounting holes so you could supply your own screws. If you do not wish to use the adhesive tape, I would suggest drilling small holes in the mounting plate so you could mount it with screws. I didn't do that because I had to mount it to vinyl siding. Still, I'm afraid that when the summer sun bakes it, the adhesive will release.

Answer:	AFAIK you need to buy two in order to get a chime for each doorbell then link them separately to each ring. Then you have to change the tone for both doorbells to get a unique sound for each door.

Answer:	You can also set it up to make a chime when it detects motion. I usually have this setting turned off so it only chimes when someone pushes the button.

Question:	can i use this and watch on my desktop computer
Answer:	This is the main thing I don't like about Ring Pro, they have not bothered to make it work with live view for Windows 7. This tells me that like many companies they don't care or bother to make their products backward compatible. If you decided to upgrade to Windows 10 despite all negative pushy attempts to force it upon us by Microsoft, you are in the Live View club. If you choose to stick with Windows 7 and wait until Windows 10 OS issues are resolved before upgrading or buying a new system, your out of luck. Thanks, Ring! Question:	Does not work with existing doorbell chime when wired!!?? That’s not a good thing
Answer:	Pretty silly that Ring designed this to replace wired doorbells but it doesn't sound the current chime that people already have. I would venture to guess most people enjoy the sound of their current chime vs an electronic sound. The Nest doorbell has had this feature since launch. Bad design choice and feels like this was done to upsell the Ring Chime at the expense of what's beneficial to the consumer. The Video Doorbell 3 uses the existing chime, but it's bulkier and unattractive - would have been nice to use this smaller version.
Question:	Do you have to reset if there's a power cut

However, once the power is restored the Ring Video Doorbell Wired should automatically reconnect to your network.
