Question:	What's the best age to start a dog or puppy on these? I've been told a puppy's sharp teeth would destroy the trainer
Answer:	The trainers are meant for retrieving only so the puppy's sharp teeth should not be an issue. The body is made of a closed cell foam so if the puppy's tooth were to puncture the surface, there would not be a hole. A younger puppy may find a smaller model such as a miniature mallard or mourning dove less challenging as they are smaller in size and weight. A four to five month old puppy would likely not have any problems retrieving the full size mallard.
Question:	On the picture it's not showing the hard "ball" on the rope, does it come with it
Answer:	The picture I'm looking at shows a knot at the end of the toss rope. That is what ours had. You can untie it if you wish.
Question:	Would this be too big for an 8 week lab puppy to train with
Answer:	It would be a bit to big at 8 weeks but we used it for a 12 week GSP puppy.

Answer:	Full size, like a real duck size

Question:	Where is this made/manufactured
Answer:	Not sure where they are made but I have two. I have had them for over two years. I use them both on water and land. I use them at least 6 days a week. They hold up very very good!!!!
Question:	I have one of these that is about 2 years old. It reeks. Is there any safe way to clean it
Answer:	Mix 1 qt. 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, a squirt dish soap, and enough warm water to cover your dummy (up to a 1/2 gallon if needed). Soak dummy overnight and rinse off the next day. Set out in the sun to dry.
Question:	Should i wait until my puppy is big enough for the regular mallard or should I buy the miniature mallard
Answer:	We started with the miniature - the big one was to much for her to handle. Now she is a year she is great with the regular one.
