Answer:	The sync module 2 will still function like a traditional sync module, compatible with all generations of Blink cameras, however, only Blink Indoor and Outdoor and Blink Mini cameras will be compatible with local storage functionality. All other generations of cameras (indoor, XT and XT2) will be cloud based if/when they are added to the SM2. All existing customers who have an account created on or before 4/15/2020 will receive free cloud storage on all devices added to their account going forward, including Mini, and Blink Indoor and Outdoor.
Question:	Will this connect to my existing blink (last generation) system
Answer:	Yes, the New Blink Outdoor camera can be added to your existing Blink System.
Question:	How fast do they begin recording after motion? My arlo cameras continually miss cars coming in the driveway
Answer:	The recording starts immediately upon motion sensing. The *Early Notification* Beta setting alerts you within 5 seconds of motion detection, and you can access the Live View from your phone and choose whether you'd like to keep the live view clip. The live view clip then saves for as long as you'd like to continuously watch (which you'll be prompted to do), otherwise, you'll recorded clip will only be as long as you sell it to be(upto 60 seconds) with a cool down of 10seconds between clips with motion. Also, you can toggle whether you want it to stop recording 2seconds after motion end, or allow it to always record for the triggered clip length. I purchased mine mid- December 2020, and it works amazingly.
Question:	How are these different than my Blink XT2 cameras
Answer:	I just spoke with a Blink representative on the phone, he informed me that if you have a blink account activated before 4/15/20 using the older cameras (i.e. XT2), if you purchase the new cameras, they can be added to your existing system and they will be able to utilize the free cloud storage since the account is grandfathered in. The cloud storage paid plan is only for accounts made after 4/15/20.

Answer:	The battery-operated Blink cameras are shipped with two non-rechargeable AA 1.5v Lithium batteries and they’re easy to replace when the time comes. Blink camera batteries should be replaced by Energizer Ultimate 1.5v Lithium AA batteries or the equivalent.

Answer:	Yes, The Blink Indoor and Outdoor cameras can be added to your existing Blink System. Plus, if adding Blink Indoor and Outdoor cameras to an existing Blink system that has been activated on or before 4/15/20, you will be grandfathered into your current free cloud storage model in the Blink app. Systems activated after 4/15/20 will receive motion alerts and be able to enter Live View for free, with the option to access video recordings in the Blink app through a cloud storage subscription. Local Storage options are available with the Sync Module 2 and a removable USB storage drive.
Question:	Has blink removed the awful feature that limits the " live view" option to 30 seconds? there should be no limit. it stops many from buying blink
Answer:	There is a limit to the continuous live viewing on the Blink cameras. Currently, you are able to view up to 5 minutes at a time in 30 second intervals. After 5 minutes you would have to initiate a new live view session. We do not have any news to share regarding continuous live viewing on the Blink cameras. Question:	Can i connect this camera to my computer with a usb
Answer:	I have just purchased two of these (Elph 180). The first thing I noticed is that Canon has not improved the access door (battery/ sd card slot) in the many years since I had my first point& shoot Canon. (I have a canon rebel too - different story) The reason I am telling you this is that I urge you to buy a cable to download your shots, and clear the SD card from your camera. Every time you open and shut this little door, the weaker it becomes. Eventually you will be forced to tape the door shut to use the camera. I did this for years because I loved the camera. Finally I just got tired of it and bought the rebel. If the only time you have to open the door is to charge the battery, you will extend the usable life of the door HUGELY. As with most technology today, it's longevity depends on its weakest point. One of the two I purchased is for a 12 yr. old - I bought cables for both of us. My opinion: It's worth it because Canon still makes the best lenses.
Question:	Does this have an automatic shutoff If I forget to turn it off
Answer:	I don`t think so. But you`ll know if it`s on. When it`s on, the lens moves way out. When it`s off, it retracts, so the camera is flat. It would be very hard to forget to turn the camera off, or forget you left it on.

Question:	Can I charge this in Europe with a simple adapter
Answer:	The unit comes with 2 AC adapters with female USB ports. One is for the camera and the other is for the monitor. These are the standard ones that most cell phone chargers use. The one I have for the monitor has the following printed on it. "Input: 110-240V 50/60HZ 0.35A max" and "Output: 5V 2000mA". So depending on the European country and what the electricity supply there looks like, the answer is YES if the supply falls within the input range above, but you should confirm. Given the input range, you probably don't need to buy a separate converter/transformer to step up or down the power. It's probably better to just use the AC adapters that came with the unit.
Question:	Is there a multi camera option
Answer:	There is a setting for it on the monitor. It includes an option to cycle between cameras.

Answer:	Just had to supply power to the camera. I took the positive from the back up lights so the camera would come on when you put the car in reverse. I ran the ground to the frame. To find the back up hot line I used a meter and tested the wires by having some one put the car in reverse.
