It is very easy to installation and setup. 2.This is a 8 channel camera security system, I installed in every corner of my house, I live in a single family house by the way, that’s why I ordered the 8 channels. 3. It has 1TB hard drive pre-installed,it's ready to record,you can set up to auto, manual and motion detection recording,you can also remote playback and live view the video on smartphone. 4.Its up and running and configured to the way I like it. Answer:	Just installed this system (4 channel, hard drive included) and it's connected by wire to my router. No problems at all. All of our cameras are within 50 feet of the DVR and they all have at least 3 wifi signal bars. That's also though walls and floors. We've had no problems with signal or playback. The video quality is also pretty decent for a $200 inclusive system!
