Answer: | Not a good idea to simply connect in parallel. However, if you hook each one to a 1 ohm ceramic resistor each, then connect them together. The issue is that each one will want to be at a slightly different voltage and they’ll fight each other. You need to buffer that difference with a resistor on each of them. |

Answer: | Yes, but also consider type of lights being run. If the ezgo is 36v with 6 (6v) batteries you can run the lights off of 2 of the batteries in 'series' with a light on/off switch and will be fine. Also if LED lights are being installed check the specs on the light install instructions. Many LED lights can run off of variable voltage 8-16 volts which means you can wire directly to 1 or 2 (8v) batteries if you have a 48v cart with 6 (8v) batteries. LEDs Are extremely bright, great for off-road rigs but blinding on the road. I just installed LED head and tail lights on a neighbors 48v ezgo txt and ran them directly off of 1 of his 8v batteries and they were still a little too bright and we angled the front light bar down towards the ground as cars were flashing their lights at him.So yes this will work just fine but possibly might not be required.1 tip, search for the 12v accessory plug and USB auto adapter. You can use the votage reducer for lights and to add the 12v accessory to the dash for phone charging and other 12v products. |

My personal preference is two on bottom with one directly in front of me. Then one to the right for misc. and the upper monitor for email and things-to-do list. |
