Answer:	i bought this and connected a power bar to it in hope that if there is a surge from the power main reaching the data panel , this device will blow up before my electronic equipment. I am hence using this as a surge protector for everything connected after it, whether it’s directly connected to it or via a power bar outlet. hope this helps.
