Question:	can i put 6 18650 cells in parallel
Answer:	This is what I plan to do, and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. 1S6P should look exactly like one massive cell to the charger. At 1A it’ll take forever to charge 6P (like 12 hours) but it should work alright.

Answer:	You can use the batt- pin and batt+ pin. Read both then subtract batt- from batt+

Answer:	Standard on the board is 1/2 amp .. You can remove a resistor off the board ( soldered) to get the full 1 amp.. It will charge like most other lipo chargers though the lower the voltage the more current ( up to limit based on resistor) then tapers off Once it's closer to the cut off voltage of 4.2V.. Good little diy charger.

Operation:



Ⅰ. Charge Li-ion Battery



Connecting power supply and inserting batteries, it will automatically start charging. Inserting one battery, the charge current will be 2A. Inserting two batteries, the charge current will be 1A for each channel. When the power (or voltage) of battery is different, the charger will charge the lower one, then charge two batteries together. In case that one battery charges the other one, or battery over-charge and over-discharge.



Ⅱ. Charge Li-ion Battery and USB Device at the Same Time



The charger will charge USB device prior to batteries when charge together. The external device charges directly from the power supply instead of batteries, to reduce the cycle of battery and extend battery lifespan.



Ⅲ. USB Output Function



Insert one or two batteries, and connect USB device, the charger will automatically charge the external USB device. The max output of two batteries is 2A, the max output of one battery is 1A. When the power (or voltage) of battery is different, the charger will discharge the higher one, then discharge two batteries together. In case that one battery charges the other one, or battery over-charge and over-discharge.

Question:	Is there a way to turn off the diodes, while charging? also, what do the power button presses do
Answer:	Yes , a USB cord comes with it, but its not very long if I remember correctly! Connects the chip to the computer (usb). If you have a 7.3 powerstroke, don't hesitate to get this, it's amazing!!! Had a TS6 and that thing was a dog compared to the Hydra! Suoer easy to program and install too, aside from getting the pcm out of course, if yours is blocked by the wheel well like mine! Lol!
Question:	How do i open up the case without damaging it once i close it up? it is impossible! please change the design
Answer:	No, that information is handled in the ABS module and cannot be adjusted through the PCM.

Answer:	The chip already comes with the tunes. All you have to do is install the chip and your good to go.

Answer:	I think the php tunes is just a lot newer technology and more advanced. And you can also change the tunes if you ever add any aftermarket upgrades. But I have never had the ts6. So can’t knock it for sure. But I can say the hydra for 300$ is the best deal out of anything I put on my truck. I couldn’t believe the improvement I got for only 300$. From power to throttle response fuel economy shifting points and towing power.
Question:	Just to confirm this is both a lipo charger and 5v boost converter, correct? when you remove the usb power, the battery will be boosted to output 5v
Answer:	Mine did. I printed the list of programs and what number they are also because with so many programs it is not easy to keep track of what is what.

Answer:	The switch is upgraded to the round version that fits in a gauge pod. The standard switch is square that comes with a piece of Velcro to stick it on the dash somewhere.

How to choose the right battery:

The battery should be flat 18650-battery, 65mm long, pointed battery can not be used.

If you use old batteries, different capacities, different brands are not available, disassemble the battery to ensure that each voltage is at least 3.5V or more.

If the voltage is too low, then you can put it into the battery.

(Note: You can also use lithium battery, mobile phone tablet battery)

• The battery of the 186 50 battery must be flat, and the length is 65MM. The pointed battery cannot be used.
• Connection methods: It is possible to connect only one lithium battery or multiple lithium batteries in parallel.
• Charge indication of this power bank pcb board: The word "IN" will be shown in the display.
