Question:	electrical connection needed
Answer:	The electric connection powers the screen for programs and monitoring. As well as the fan, and the plug if you want to connect your phone or iPad. The cord is long and can easily slide out of the way.
Question:	How long does it take to assemble
Answer:	I'm capable but not overly handy and it took me about an hour, maybe a little more. The heaviest part is the base. I just tore open the end of the box and then slid it out. To lift it would have taken two strong people. None of the other parts seemed heavy to me and I did put it together by myself. There were a couple of spots where having a second pair of hands would have helped. This was a matter of the benefit of having one person hold the piece in place while the other person did the screws rather than an issue with weight. The directions are VERY clear and all the screws and washers were shrink wrapped onto a cardboard that clearly identified them, which made the process much easier and faster too. The time involved has more to do with the number of screws and washers rather than needing to do anything complicated or confusing. My impression is that Schwinn put thought into making the assembly doable.

Answer:	Unfortunately the user manual does limit the wright to 300 pounds.
Question:	what does it mean 'magnetic'? is the adjustment for resistance electronic or manual
Answer:	The adjustments are automatic from the rider's point of view. Internally, in the front of the cycle, hidden beneath the plastic casing, is a large metal flywheel attached to the pedals. Surrounding the flywheel is a metal arc that holds a series of magnets. The closer this arc comes to the flywheel, the more magnetic "pull" you have to work against - and therefore, the harder you have to pedal. Internally, in a part of the cycle you never see unless it breaks (like ours did after 4 years of hard, every day use), is a steel cable that pulls the magnets away from the flywheel making it easier to pedal, or lets the magnets drop closer, making it harder. But again - from your point of view, the system is automatic. You can set a fixed resistance, or you can select a terrain with varying up and down "hills" of resistance. Even though little magnetic gnomes are busy inside the cycle doing physics, you don't have to think about them. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The receiver works with Facebook Live. I've used it for that. If you use the lavalier mic on someone's lapel and transmit the mic to your phone, you can broadcast it. Also, in theory, if you are having multiple microphones run through a sound system, you should be able to plug in a headphone output from a soundboard (over a line with a 1/8" headphone male-to-male jack) to the transmitter's mic in (instead of the mic provided) which will then go to the receiver just fine. Though I haven't, personally, used a setup like that. So, I can't guarantee it 100% and I'm not sure this is the optimal solution for that kind of situation.

The connecting cable from the phone/Ipad to the receiver has a smart phone plug (three ring) on one end and a standard plug on the other. Both are marked as such. I am using it as a main mic which replaces the internal mic on the Ipad. This should be the same for a smart phone.

Question:	what's the length of the cord
Answer:	The assembly is not difficult. There are some things to avoid, however. Don't drop the screws down into the wheel area. Hold onto those little boogers or you'll have to pick it up, turn it over, and shake it to get the screw assembly out. Big fun. Also, don't let the wire assembly fall out of the tube. It's attached by a twist tie, which unfortunately is threaded through a screw hole, so must be removed or the screw will not go in. Hold onto the wires to keep them from falling back into the tube when you release the twist tie. Lastly, if you are assembling alone, have your favorite curse words cued and ready to go for when you try to connect the wire assembly together holding onto the handle bar assembly with the other hand. Means you have to lock the two pieces together with one hand. Not easy. Otherwise, a piece of cake, which you'll easily work off doing the assembly.

Answer:	Yes it would. I just bought this bike the 270 model like 2 months ago. My weight is 350lbs I am 6ft tall and the bike handles me with no problems doesn't even move to the sides. I bought this product with confidence because from past experience i know gym equipment no matter how cheap or expensive they are built past there weight capacity. I have used eliptical machines with weight capacity of 220 on those you stand and they have not broken. I have also had various gym memberships and small gyms have some equipment that does not look big people friendly but i have used it with confidence and they work fine. I would recommend this for gym use, like i said user max is 300 but i am 350 and use it fine, I would think this could hold someone up to 420lbs. Worst case scenario the seat brackets would become lose upon sitting not enough damage for someone to fall off. I hope this helps you.*Update* Sorry I wrote this quickly before rushing to work. But I have now corrected my spelling and would like to add more details to my answer. As I said, this bike would be perfect for gym use. I would highly recommend you go with the 270 model for a few reasons. Reasons:1. The seat on this 270 model is thickly padded and wide. Keep in mind it is for use of most likely overweight people like myself, comfort is a must to keep members happy.2. The foot pedals on this model are 3-crank pedal. meaning it is more durable for long hours of heavy use.3. The seat is mounted on a aluminum sliding rail, this makes it easier to slide the seat into different position quickly compared to the other model (230) as to where you have to use a pin bolt to move the seat. 4. Lastly let's talk about the price. Right now Amazon has it on special at $423.69, regular price on Amazon is $499 which is how much i paid for it I didn't want to wait for a deal any longer. The 230 model regular price is $399 right now it is $377. So by a difference of like $40 dollars you get the thick padded seat, the easy adjustable sliding seat. and most importantly better durable foot pedals. This would be the best choice for your gym over the other models. I would take advantage of this awesome deal Amazon has on this bike right now, who knows how much longer it will be at this special price. Some other quick details about this bike. Some people say the fan it has is not good enough, but in my opinion the fan is great it gets the job done you can't expect a industrial fan breeze out of the size of a fan this small but it is great. besides i would expect air condition or ceiling fans at a gym. This bike has a usb charging port so it is great for charging your cell phone or like a tablet (any usb chargeable device). The bike has many different workout programs. The bike also has 25 levels of resistance (how intense the foot pedals are depending on how much you want to challenge yourself in a workout session). I personally only use up to resistance 12 right now and it really feels like a good workout, so there is still plenty of room to work your way up through the different intensity levels.
