Answer:	I like this little radio so much I bought it again after I misplaced the 1st one. It tunes in very well. Receives our 1000 watt, university station (88.3). My only beef is the bottom is so slim it struggles to stand upright if the music has a lot of bass. Certainly not a deal breaker. Love this little radio.

Answer:	I just sat here and did it personally before answering. Yes, you absolutely can play the radio, or MP3s while charging. When connected to a charge cable, the "charging" icon appears. Press the "mode" button to turn on the radio. If you have a TF/SD card installed with MP3s. it will default to that mode and begin playing. Press the FM/AM button to switch to the band you want, or the SW button to play shortwave bands. The "charging" indicator continues to show it's charging the entire time. And yes, also you can connect the power cable and play the radio with no battery in it, although it says in the manual not to. Not really sure how it cold hurt the radio to do so???

For preset station to no.1 button. 1) By push">>II"button to find your prefer station. 2) push orange "Memo 5" button for 2 sec . You will see the "CH XX" flashing. 3) Key in number 01 now show CH 01. 4) Push play button ">II" once and push again one more time to save it to memory OK . Done. You can preset 80 stations on FM, 60 on AM 300 on SW. For me I will not preset more then total 20 stations. WHY ?

Answer:	yes it does. on my particular radio there is a religious broadcast at 9980. the 10000 beacon comes in very close to that station. when i say very close, i mean VERY close. but with an analog dial your results may vary. hope this helps.

The 4-way power is this: it has a handle you can turn to charge it, that's 1; it has a solar panel for charging, that's 2; it has a lithium ion (or something) battery that you can plug into the wall to charge, that's 3; and you can also put 3 AA batteries in it to power it, that's 4. 4-ways to charge it. Answer:	What do you mean by shaking the crank for 8 hours to get it to fully charge? Push the crank for 120 cycles or minutes? Does anyone else know how to clearly explain this process, please? Question:	I live in an apartment and have little access to attach an external antenna to anything outside. Can an external antenna work inside an apartment
Answer:	Re sun also sell the AM booster loop, the AN-200 tunable medium wave loop antenna. I have found this no-battery solution to give a great signal boost for all bands except FM. I rest the Tecsun radio inside the loop and it works!
Question:	Can a generic, lithium-ion 3.6/4.2 volt 18650 with a 2600 - 3400 mAh rating be used in this radio? Would it fit and not overload the circuitry

Answer:	Firmware 8820 does not guarantee that it is free from the fine-tuning bug. Some 8820 firmware will still tune backwards within a kilohertz during SSB fine tuning. A small but annoying bug. Check with Electronnix before buying.

Answer:	The seller will have to tell you the version number and yes there is an easy way to read it. 1.) With the radio turned off, simply press and hold the "AM BW" button and the full display panel will turn on.2.) Then press and hold the "AM BW" again and your 880′s firmware version will display (a four digit number).You need version 8820 or higher which fixes a few of the problems but not all.
