I am not sure where these waterproof style of buds can be purchased. Perhaps the Sony service number 866-488-SONY can help if these are what you are looking for.

Answer:	Can only be done by Sony ... the battery is not made to be replaced by the consumer (which is true of many, many portable audio players, particularly the higher-end types). Answer:	You will need to pair these with a Beam or Playbar as rear surrounds for surround sound. The Beam or Playbar connects to the TV using HDMI-ARC or optical cable (HDMI-ARC preferred, most TVs support this). Apple TV is connected to the TV HDMI input and the audio passes through the TV to the Sonos surround system. I have a Beam and that’s how mine is setup with an Apple TV. Works great!

Answer:	The track selector toggle functions. nwz-w273: 1-click skips songs. Hold-click skips folders. nw-ws413: 1-click skips songs. 2-clicks skips folders. Hold-click fast-forwards or rewinds specific segments on the track. IMHO, the buttons on the 413 are much easier to use. The charger is much smaller. Fits better on me than the 273 without using the extra fit-adjusting band. And the "ambient" sound selector which allows u to hear your sorroundings is a good addition.

Answer:	Yes it does have an ambient noise feature. I have only tested it while sitting at the computer so see if I could hear a video while listening to the headphones. I haven't tested outside or in the gym yet.

Answer:	So yes the player is expensive But Sony in this is a bargain considering all the parts are manufactured by Sony in house They are not buying off the shelf parts like capacitors or oscillators or even the DAC’s from a manufacturer who mass produces them Sony designs and test and makes all parts in house. So you end up with a better player thoughtfully designed Unlike astell and kern. The use dacs that are premade and cost wayyyyy less that what astell and kern sell them for. Astell and kerns 3,000 dollar player has dacs that are maybe 50-100 dollars to manufacture but sell them for $$$ in pretty aluminum cases If however your looking for a cheaper solution I’d recommend the hifime S2 dac It runs off your phone battery just make sure to buy the otg cable and then plug your headphones in using the standard 3.5mm jack I own one and it sounds really good. And for about 130 Bucks you can get the dac and cable down load tidal or Qobuz and get amazing quality very affordable Just my 2 cents I hope this helps

You can also turn the [Display tape playback screen] function on or off from the menu of any screen in “Music player”.
