Answer:	While you can leave it plugged in all the time, the question comes down more to the type of battery and whether you are shortening the life of the battery by doing so. I don’t personally know about this partidevice, but if you learn whether the battery is li-on, ni-mh, etc, then research that particular battery technology.

Answer:	Hello, The 21-406 and 70-2355T are the same 4 Ohm, 20 Watt max rating speaker with a different termination. So, how loud the speaker can get varies depending on what is used to drive it. Also, the 70-2355T came terminated with molex crimp pins specifically for use with certain Midland radios. The 21-406 comes terminated with a generic 3.5mm mono audio plug used on various radio models including many CBs.

Answer:	The plastic is pretty flaxible so I don't think it would break from a drop. It's a good speaker though not the loadest. I've drove through a river with this mounted under the front bumper f my s10, it fully submerged and didn't bother it at all. It's loud enough to wake the nabours but not so loud that it's is an instant call to the cops when heard.

Answer:	No, it is not a stand-alone alarm horn that is tripped simply by applying voltage; it is a hailer requiring a signal source (voice/music/alarm). It is simply a speaker.

Answer:	I used the Pyle PFA200 60-Watt Class-T Hi-Fi Audio Amplifier after trying some other amps like the Lepai 2020 (which was not nearly as loud and blew out on the 31st day). I wired this amp in directly to my truck and bridged the Pyle PSP8 speaker (positive of one channel, negative of the other). I only have the amps volume turned half way up or so and it is WAY louder than it was off just my straight CB or off the Lepai. This combo was exactly what I was looking for.

Answer:	And no there is no 12v plug or anything. Just has a positive and negative for wiring to your power supply of your choosing. And yes to needing to be wired up which is easier than you think.

Answer:	The CB has two wires built in so all you would need is a cigarette lighter socket adapter and wire it up. The wires are about 4' long so you should have no problems where you mount it. The wiring is very easy - that's the set up I have so I can unplug and remove the CB when I'm just driving around locally.

Answer:	It needs an antenna regardless? There is no internal one? Is it ok to leave the small antenna inside the vehicle? Like in the trunk or glove box?

Answer:	The 520XL can also be taken to any CB shop and be "peaked and tuned" to over double the factory power. This is a very common practice that any trucker will do with his/her CB. This radio, peaked and tuned will deliver 8.5-9.0 watts with 17-18 watt peaks. This is more than twice the factory (legal) power, and adds significant range and clarity to your radio. As far as I am aware, there are no other compact radios on the market with the ability to be peaked and having the RF gain control in a compact unit is AWESOME. This radio is a gem. Answer:	According to the manual, you should be able to use an HSP-supported Bluetooth headset (only one) paired with the base unit. Here's the kicker, though: Panasonic states that for best performance, it should be within 1m (3.3 ft) of the base unit, with a max range of about 10m (33 ft). Seems kinda stupid wrong, eh? While I don't personally own a headset, I can say that other reviewers here and on other sites have had either good results (far greater than 3ft), poor results, and everything in between. As such, it seems as though it will depend on how well your headset gets along with most other bluetooth connections. So, if you buy the phone and it doesn't deliver the bluetooth performance you need, you can return it. Sorry for not being able to provide a more definitive answer, but it seems Bluetooth in general can be very temperamental at times (as witnessed by how many Bluetooth keyboard/mouse problems I have seen documented).

Answer:	I have not experienced a talk back either... however I did not read the instructions I just plugged it in. It does make it waaaay easier to hear others on the freeway and trail in my jeep. One of the main reasons I got this unit was for the talk back feature because others have issues hearing me when I broadcast. Overall I am very pleased with the external speaker!

Answer:	The speaker in my cobra cb was way to weak to hear anything. This thing is pretty loud in comparison.

Answer:	This speaker is NOT amplified. Almost all speakers are advertised based on the maximum wattage that the speaker is supposed to be able to accept. Saying this is a 15 watt speaker simply means that it is supposed to work with a sound source that puts out up to 15 watts. It is very rare to find any CB radio that has an audio output circuit capable of providing any more than 3 watts -- this speaker is adequately loud in most normal environments such as a car or truck, but probably not loud enough for something like heavy construction machinery.

Answer:	I have one on my 1968 Corvette with the battery in a compartment behind the drivers seat. Just make it a little harder to get at.

Answer:	This clamp is sized to fit the smaller diameter negative post (the positive one is too large) of a 12 volt battery. If your 6 volt battery's positive post is also larger than the negative, then you'll have to use this on the "live" negative one, which, for your application, shouldn't pose a problem. A little useful hint, I used an electrical zip tie to keep the swiveling side post of the switch close to the battery terminal, so it stays put when you unscrew the knob to break the circuit. Question:	What speaker work with this cb
Answer:	I threw the top screw type away when I realized how easy it was to lose it and be completely out of luck. Go with the lever type.....it takes good finger strength to open and close and I highly doubt would juggle back into place while towing.

Answer:	I don’t even remember buying this item. It is listed in my orders from 2015, but I have been using a different speaker for the past 5 years, so this one obviously did not please me, nut I do not know why.

Answer:	It has a common plug used for speakers - so if your Uniden has a speaker plug - I do not see why it would not work. And it is of good quality and produces good sound - I use it for a CB - a scanner would work well with it also.
