| Answer: | You use a jump drive (thumb drive) that is inserted into the player. The music records directly onto that. I also used a speaker system - so I would listen to the tape as it went, and would know when to hit STOP. It does not stop automatically, as it just plays both sides continuously. It records onto the jump drive as MP3 music. Then put it into your laptop & copy it files from the jump drive to the PC. A warning - some of my cassette tapes were SO OLD like 60 yrs. - they would not play, or the machine ate them. I tried it on a normal cassette tape player first. |

Auto / Manual Mode

| Answer: | To answer your first question: Yes you have to play the movie as it converts otherwise if you fast forward it it might record you fast forwarding it. Unfortunately there's no work around on that. To answer your second question, no it doesn't convert in high speed unless you have a Solid State Drive and have 16 GB RAM or more then it might, but that's just an educated guess. Otherwise it depends on the length of the tape. The longest I had to record was 2 hours and 28 minutes. The shortest I had to record was 5 minutes. Also it depends on well taken care of and clean the tape is, I noticed the first time I did a tape it kept destabilizing after cleaning the tape it stabilized perfectly the conversion was very smooth. |

The Audio Capture device doesn’t need any driver installation, Windows OS will install the driver automatically. Please connect audio capture USB connector into your computer’s free USB2.0 port. | Answer: | Haven't used it in a while but from what I remember, you can NOT record "to" a CD at all. This thing only records "to" an SD card or USB Memory stick. That being said, there is a slot on the right hand side where a cassette goes in and you can record from it onto the SD card or USB Memory stick. Then what I do is stick the SD card or Memory stick into my computer and "drag and drop" or "copy" the file onto my USB connected phone or my Kindle Fire where the rest of my music is. The files are MP3 which many music players on phones can read instead of the older CD audio or computer files phones can't read. It took me a couple tries to figure out how to record as there are so many options, but once you figure out how, it's simple and easy to use. |
