I just tested a tab on the very thin, gilt edged pages of a Contemporary Office Book (close to 2900 pages; The Daily Office: Rite Two, Collects, Psalms, Readings for the Episcopal or Anglican church). If the pages of your Bible are "tissue like," I would not turn the pages with the tab. Instead, I would press the tab down towards the back of the book and gently lift the front from the slight gap created. Also, to remove or reposition the tab, hold the page in place around the tab with one hand and gently ease off the tab from top to bottom rather than pulling from tab up and in towards the spine.

Answer:	Each of the four canvas comes folded. Some people just smooth one out on a table and paint it. I staple my canvas to a blank canvas that I usually buy in bulk at the craft store. Buy the cheapest blank canvas and stretch your paint by number canvas on it and I staple it down with a regular office stapler that I open up and stretch it out. If you fit your painted canvas very well on the blank canvas you can frame it when you finish painting. If you don't like your painted picture, just pull it off and toss and then you can reuse the blank canvas. Best of luck!
