Answer:	No, it does not!! The sleeves that come with this sander are only 3" in length. Once again, someone answering a question without knowing what they are talking about. The WEN sanding sleeve kit Amazon recommends for this sander are the standard 4 1/2" long and are meant for the WEN sanding table...not this portable sander. I suppose you could cut them to 3", but the kit also includes 2 larger diameter sleeves that can't be used with this sander. Big Horn is the only manufacturer I can find on Amazon that makes 3" long sanding sleeves.

Also, I went through dozens of sanding belts on a big project and I never had a problem with the belts moving or causing a problem sanding. My only complaint is that the dust bag fills pretty quickly so pay attention and empty it often. Other than that I am very satisfied with this belt sander.

Answer:	Not sure if it has auto track or not. However, I have used it for about 100 hours without any problems. Once I center the new belt it stays there. In fact it is probably the best 4" belt sander I have used.Its heavy, well built, removes stock quickly, and runs like a champ. I use it to smooth rough sawn lumber that is too large to get through my planers.
Question:	Does this come with the attachment for mechanical dust extraction as shown in the photograph
Answer:	Yes, but I have never used this tiny bag. That would be for small jobs only. I have done my deck and now I am working on my dock. I directly hook it to the small size shop vacuum hose (through a piece of single diameter tube adopter I improvised), and dump the dust into a 5 gallon construction bucket, through a piece of low thread count scrap bed sheet, held in place by a bungee cord. It works just like a shop vacuum because the blower is so strong on the sander that you don't need the additional suction of a shop vacuum, or the weight of it to haul around. This is still hard work, but you can't get a better tool.

Question:	How easy to go from belt to spindle or vice versa? How long does it take
Answer:	About a minute, take the nut off the top and the belt assembly will come off. Then you can install the plate and drum onto the spindle. Note: the drum and belt opinions use two different nuts, they both come with the machine, the down side is that you have to keep up with the one your not using. To my knowledge the rigid brand is the same way.

Answer:	The bed is "free-floating" with no graduations, but it does have a lot of movement. I would go for it. You can always add a shim, like a door shim, to it. Another use for Duct Tape!
Question:	Could this sharpen a 3 foot sword
Answer:	Please ignore Jeepman, who doesn't know what he's talking about. This takes a completely nonstandard belt size (1x13) and you will need to make your own strop for it if you buy it. I wouldn't, personally, since you'd need to make that belt from extremely thin top grain leather, and you'd need to make it so short (to compensate for stretching) that it probably wouldn't fit on the machine until you had already stretched it some other way.
Question:	I am thinking of buying this item to sharpen wood chisels and fillet knives. Does the bed guide go to 17 degrees
Answer:	The spring action on each side. Pull it up and out until it let's go off the paper. Then install new paper and pull spring rod back up and over.

Our sander is made specially for metal workers and is designed to give you versatility and performance. It uses 79" long sanding belts that resist heating up even with a surface speed of 3900 FPM. The sanding head tilts from 0°–30° to suit the job at hand. Sand against the rubber contact wheel using the supplied work rest or sand flat surfaces against the 3" x 20-1/2" graphite-backed platen.
