Answer:	The speaker wires are more like 10 feet long. Both of them. If you want to run one speaker on the other side of a room, you're gonna have to splice the speaker wire to make it longer.

After constantly having to hit repeat after every ten hours for weeks, it seems fine. It handles the more blues-ey jazz alright, but after 3 seconds of rare basement bootleg acid jazz deep cuts, it threw itself into the toilet and flushes itself. Answer:	They will work in any ceiling as long as you can mount them with they clips. They are similar to the remodel recessed can light if you are familiar with it. I placed the Bluetooth receiver inside a shelf and play my music with my iPhone. If you don"t care for the bluetooth function, I believe you can directly connect to your A/V receiver. I am very impressed with these speakers. Not the best, but they work good enough for me. Hope this help.
