Question:	How many watts can these speakers handle
Answer:	20-100 watts RMS
Question:	what is the difference between the 6.5 inch vs the 8 inch versions
Answer:	The tweeters are exactly the same between the two. The 8" model has a larger woofer and therefore will provide better bass reproduction (i.e., deeper low end bass). The reason for the different sizes is sometimes the spacing distances between the ceiling joist and wall studs will dictate which one you can use . If your wall studs or ceiling joist are on 16" centers then get the 8"... if they are on 12" centers you'll have to settle for the 6.5". Hands down... if you have the room get the 8". Just FYI: The 8" version outsells the 6" version 2 to 1.
Question:	How much sound is transferred to the room above? I'm installing in a basement ceiling below a bedroom
Answer:	Depends on the construction of the house. I would Place a bat of fiberglass insulation behind the speaker if there is no insulation in the ceiling. This will reduce the transmission of sound upstairs , and improve the sound of the speaker in the room it's installed.
Question:	Do these speakers have open backs? Do they come with enclosures
Answer:	This is actually a great question. As the others have said, the backs are open, which is typically not an issue when installing into a wall or ceiling. HOWEVER...if you install into a ceiling that has blown insulation above it (the loose cellulose kind, not the rolled fiberglass kind) then you WILL want to come up with your own way of keeping the loose insulation off the backs of the speaker. If you don't (as I didn't the first time I bought these) then over time the quality and volume of the sound will lessen because of the insulation working into and pressing against the cones. I had to replace one set because of this problem.

Answer:	As an audio engineer, I can personally tell the difference between the two models. However, to the untrained ear of a casual listener it will be very difficult to notice any difference. This will also differ from person to person as every set of ears and every human brain are just a little bit different. Therefore not every human being is capable of hearing all of the frequencies being omitted from the speakers. That being said, the difference between models is their frequency range. Ask yourself these questions before making a decision :1) Do you commonly notice a difference in the overall sound quality when listening to music on different speakers? 2) Does your listening pleasure diminish when you notice these differences? 3) Are you the kind of person that doesn't mind spending a little more money if you know that you will be getting a better quality product? If you answered yes to these questions, then I would recommend doing as I did and purchasing the 800 model. BTW, if you're "all about that bass" the 800 will also be more appealing as the main difference is the low end frequencies as they always improve with size. I hope this was helpful! Matt. W.

Question:	are the speakers sealed in the back for blown in insulation
Answer:	No, they are not in a sealed housing. I have blown insulation in one section where we installed a set and just moved it out of the way. A friend has a set in blown insulation and he fashioned a tube out of cardboard that he inserted through the hole prior to installing the speaker - seems to work for him.
Question:	Do these need mounting brackets for new construction installations and if so, are they ordered separately
Answer:	These speakers are great because they don't any bracket or be near a stud or ceiling joist. Cut the hole using the template and you push the speakers into the drywall opening, then just screw the retaining flanges snug. A grill gets put on top. Easiest install - they can go anywhere you've got wire run.
Question:	Is anything additional needed to mount these speakers
Answer:	All you will need is a Phillips screw driver and a box cutter to cut the circle holes in the ceiling and all peicies fur the speaker are in the box. It's a very simple installation me and my father did mine in a few hours.

Answer:	Dolby recommends a speaker with ability to aim and if you feel you need that have a look at a CDT-3650-C II. It would depend on where they are mounted in relation to the listening or seating area. If they are just above or above and not too far from the listening area you may be ok with them aiming straight down.
Question:	Is this a Dolby Atmos speaker
Answer:	It was not designed as a Dolby Atmos speaker, but it would work fine as a height speaker in a Dolby Atmos system, especially when used with other Klipsch Reference Premier speakers.
Question:	What backing do you recommend if installed under attic ? will some simple mdf board placed on top do the job
Answer:	I built mine during construction and yes, MDF works well. I built a box that went from rafter to rafter out of inexpensive oak plywood and it has worked very well. Like I’ve told others, don’t merely place it under insulation as I don’t believe it provides an adequate speaker box. Essentially your attic becomes the box in that scenario.

Answer:	The minimum depth would be 5 inches. They recommend putting a sheet or fiberglass insulation around the speaker to improve performance so a few extra inches would be nice for that reason.
Question:	Can anyone please share the exact cutout template dimensions for 6.5”? Thanks
Answer:	The cutout is 240mm or 9.4". The frame size is 261mm or 10.2". This is the exact measurements taken off the template that is supplied with the speakers. I just installed 4 of these yesterday and am looking at the template as I write this. The person that says it is 9 7/8 inch is 100% wrong. 9.44" is about 9 7/16" so a 16th under a half inch.
Question:	would you mount 6 of these for a surround sound/stereo pourpose
Answer:	I have a larger center speaker over tv facing out and four 8'' Pyle speakers in ceiling with a separate subwoofer behind couch. I didn't like the highs on the yamaha's...sounded really tinny...probably because the dual tweeters. Answer:	The sound is great there is no distortion.
Question:	Has anyone mounted these in both wall and ceiling, what are the differences on install? someone stated they were not for wall installs
Answer:	There is no difference in for the install if you mount speakers in the wall or ceiling.
Question:	Can these mount to acoustical/fake ceiling
Answer:	I think so. They mount with a screw and clamp. The screw is accessible behind the removable front grill. The speaker comes with a template so you know what size to cut out in the wall or ceiling. After you insert the speaker into the recess, as you turn the screw, it tightens the clamp onto drywall, securing it in place. Although it is designed for drywall, I think it will work on anything with approximately the same thickness (~3/4 inch thick).
Question:	Which amp will connect all 5 speakers? Can i connect to Pyle wall mount receiver instead of an amp, and connect aux cord to play music from phone
Answer:	I would recommend a 5.1 home audio receiver.
