Answer:	My chair legs are just over 1 inch square legs and they were stretched pretty tight over them. They would probably not be able to stretch to 2 inches wide and stay on the chair legs.

Answer:	It appears that you could trim them up, but the pad is fairly thick and sturdy and cutting them might not be an easy task without some heavy duty scissors or similar implement. Gratefully I did not need to trim any of the approximately 30 or so pads I used.

Question:	Has anyone used these for tile? I would be purchasing these more to keep furniture from slipping than to protect the floors from being scratched
Answer:	Our non slip furniture pads are self adhesive. So, you can lift the couch to clean under.
Question:	Old chairs, bottom of legs is worn so there is an angle that needs flexible material to cover. Are these stiff/hard or flexible
Answer:	Don't see why not, they work very good on hardwood floors so should work good on carpet as well

Answer:	If your wish is for the legs to be raised so that you are seated higher from the floor, your best bet is to get furniture risers. They make them for chairs and for beds, and they're not terribly expensive.
Question:	Does hair accumulate on these
Answer:	It likely will do the job you want. They were relatively inexpensive. I have purchased two sets over time. I use them for my sofa set and place them underneath because I have hardwood floors. I don't want the floors getting scratched up from the furniture base. So...I can't say for certain because you are on carpet. But...I would order a set and see if it works. At the very least it is not costly.
