Answer:	After doing a bit of research for a new shoe for walking, ASICS Novablast was one of number of recommended shoes by orthopedists on a runner’s blog site. This shoe is very comfortable and has pretty good cushioning with neutral stability. I would really suggest that you try on a number of different running shoes because you should buy a shoe that matches your foot impact (pronator, supination, etc). The ASICS Gel Kayano is usually the best ASICS shoe. You may even consider Hoka One One which is another well-cushioned shoe since you haven’t specified what type of surface you run on. The Novablast is great for road running but not sure how well it does on trails (Hoka was designed by mountain trail runners). Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes, I remove the soles that come with the shoes. I put them on top of new Sof Sole and trim with scissors for exact fit.

Answer:	You won't know til you try. I had been buying inserts supposedly for flat feet. I have extremely flat feet. My doctor sent me for physical therapy because of ankle pain. The therapist analyzed my gait and said I needed more arch support to correct my over pronation. I now use supports made for high arches and find I need the firm support. No more ankle pain.

Question:	Do these have an arch or are they flat? I need flat insoles to wear under orthotics
Answer:	The one I purchased fits women's shoe sizes 6-11. I don't think it was marked "Large", just that it fit that size range. Hope that helps. (They seem to be sized the same way socks are, to fit a range of shoe sizes. I wear a size 7 shoe, size 6-11 sock, and this fits my shoes perfectly.)
