Answer:	It is wireless but has a no battery. It is designed to be plugged into the car's cigarette lighter port for power.

Answer:	The little booklet that comes with the unit is quite good in operating instructions but it does not list the power in watts. I can tell you that I use this unit in my old, loud, 95 Chevy truck and I have to turn the volume down because on max it is too loud.

Answer:	As I have tested it, the max range in an unobstructed straight line is one-tenth (1/10) of a mile (528 feet). I put my phone on a stand six feet high off the ground. Holding the JBL Clip 3 speaker above my head, I walked in a straight line away from the phone. (Samsung Galaxy S4). No joke. Seriously, I truly got it that far! And BTW, I highly recommend it! I've had mine for 5 months so far and I use it almost every day. It still functions just like the day I pulled it out of the box. GREAT sound quality for the price. It also has a super long battery life; I am able to play mine for a whole day (12 hours) on 70% volume! Hope that helps :)
