Answer:	It measures 2 feet - 6 1/2 inches folded up.

Answer:	I would say probably not. The top will withstand some water, but not prolonged exposure as it is plastic. And the powder coated legs would likely rust. A day or two, but not a season, imo. But I sure do like them, I have 6 and they are the best TV trays! Maybe teak ones for outdoors.

Answer:	It is a very different opening mechanism. I wouldn't say it "locks" but it is very sturdy and will not fold unless you want it to. I love these trays. I ordered two for home and loved them so much that I ordered two more for our Lake house. You will not be disappointed.

Answer:	It is 4cm in between of two alot,7-8cm high.

Answer:	These answers are all wrong or incomplete. At least for the standard 5-slot black product. The end slots are 1.2", the 3 middle slots are 1.5". If your remotes are thicker than this, they won't fit. I have one remote that is 1.3" and it will only fit in the middle 3 slots. Measured with a caliper.

Answer:	Here are the measurements of the table with the ridge. The ridge is maybe an inch TMXL Dimensions Tray: 20” x 25” Leg width: 22.75” Height: 22.5” - 29.5” Weight: 11 lbs
Question:	Will the legs scratch a wooden floor when one pulls the table towards the chair
Answer:	I we didn't take the chance of scratching. We put the felt spacers on the legs and it works great. We love the tray.
Question:	how hard is it to asseble and do i need tools
Answer:	It's easy to assemble w/o tools. The base/legs go together sort of like a vacuum cleaner tube - insert one tube inside the other, push the buttons in and slide the tubes until the buttons pop into the holes. There are two height levels. It has a lip on the top to keep things from sliding off. The drawbacks to this table is that there's no way to keep it from unfolding while you're carrying it after it's assembled and you fold it up. I bought it for my elderly mother and it's a little too hard for her to handle easily.
Question:	is this sturdy enough for a laptop??? and what about a glass to drink from
Answer:	I use mine for my 17 in laptop and still plenty of room for echo, and remote to TV and phone. I have put drinks on it and it is flat and stable, sturdy, but yes any drink can spill if you hit the table. I love mine. This is my third table mate and I love the new larger size in grey (hides the dust, had black before). I have mouse to right of laptop with still plenty of room. I would never go back to smaller size.

Answer:	It has been awhile since I purchased these, so my memory is a little foggy. It must not of been an option, because I'm sure I would of only ordered one if possible. They are very nice.

Answer:	Mine are not painted on the bottom. I use this on light color fabric, however, I have lined the tray with a clear plastic sheet because it is wood and I don't want any water to sit on it for an extended period of time.

Answer:	It's not real wood, and chips very easily. I doubt it will survive engraving.

Answer:	No, but it slides back under the table top. We never use the cup holder and I never use the table if I am serving something hot as the table can easily come off the legs if you pick it up.

Answer:	The trays were already put together. Not sure what you mean by "additional loose pieces" unless you a referring to the pieces for the stand to hold your trays. The screws and hex wrench are provided. Double check the bottom of the box.

Answer:	There are different color/stain options for this set. I'm happy with the set, but I ordered it in "espresso", which really was more of a dark brown/walnut kind of color. If you're not sure if the "black" version is really black, I would ask the seller or see if other reviewers have commented on the color.

Answer:	The tray stand needs assembled. The trays themselves are ready to go, but the stand requires assembly. The "no assembly required" statement is not accurate.

Answer:	I'm using it at 2 ft right now sitting at a rocking chair in my living room, it has one more height adjustment I could go up yet so I would say yes on the 2'4" thing. Seems to be high enough for most couches and chairs that I have. Hope that helps.

Question:	Is there a weight limit for the table
Answer:	I do not recall seeing any weight limit on the packaging and there is none on the table. It is really designed to have a snack or meal while watching TV. I did place a gallon of water (≈ 8 pounds) on it and it did not collapse but it did tilt down on the front edge around 1 inch. I would not keep that much weight on it for any period of time. A dinner meal on a plate with a salad bowl and utensils can be 3 to 5 pounds and it remained sturdy. The cup holder supports a filled 12 ounce glass. I have even placed a 6.5 pound laptop on it but the table will shake a little when you are typing on the keyboard.
