Answer:	These speakers are not bi-ampable or bi-wireable. The speaker has two separate speaker posts but the top post is for the top firing atmos speaker only. It is in a separate enclosure and treated as a separate speaker. It also has a high pass filter (Dolby atmos guidelines) that has a crossover set at 150 or 180hz. So high frequencies only. If your receiver is not atmos capable then you simply wouldn't connect the top speakers. (But can if you upgrade your receiver). Do not bi amp or bi wire these speakers you will damage them.

Simply don't connect the separate ATMOS upward firing speaker, or, as in a previous question, if you have a receiver with front height output try connecting those to the upward firing speaker to see if you like it. The speakers sound fine playing "normal" stereo or surround sound, particularly with a subwoofer to handle the very low frequencies. And, if you eventually obtain ATMOS (or other object oriented) capability, the speaker is ready.

However please note that due to the large wavelength (low frequency) of the sound waves in question the human ear is not sensitive to their directionality. That's just a matter of physics. Toward the other end of the frequency spectrum, sound waves are very dense and the human ear is hypersensitive to directionality; hence the popularity of 'point source' concentric drivers etc.

Answer:	The bass is adjustable via the remote. The settings are from 0 to -10 and at its lowest is almost completely off.

Answer:	I am SO disappointed in these speakers. As the others have said it is NOT a true 5.1 sound system. Even though the sound is magnificent for the price, it is NOT a discrete 5.1 system. Watching a movie, the sound designed for discrete front speakers totally leaked into the back surround speakers. I wish I had known this before I purchased. Well others do now.

Answer:	The requirements of ATMOS (which these have(top firing speakers)) is 8 or 12 foot ceilings. Other than that there is not necessarily any height requirement. That being said you generally want speakers that will be about the same height as your head when in your most likely sitting listening/viewing position. You don't want to install these speakers too high - it would probably mess up the ATMOS feature, but I'm not positive on that note. My stands are about 4 feet tall.
