Answer:	I put them on my wifes bike which were 1.95 rims so I don't know if they will fit 2.1. My wife really likes the tires as compared to her mountain bike tire previously.

Answer:	depends on what air pressure ypou inflate to. Only way to accuartly measure is to inflate as you will ride it, then put tire valve at bottom of tire touching ground (mark spot), roll it forward 2 revolutions until valve is again at bottom (mark spot), and measure distance, divide by 2 (I use 2 revolutions for accuracy).

Answer:	These are for 26" rims, not 29. These are not flat resistant. Michelin makes a very similar tire like this that has a 1-mm plate between inner/outer rubber that is flat RESISTANT. Plus, it also comes in 29/700c size that you are looking for. Its called Michelin City. Continental makes a "Comfort Contact" tire that is similar to Michelin City in both sizes, as well. Both tires are more expensive than these but are nice. I would save "Slime" or tire liners as a last resort, due to weight. I also know that tubes are limited in 29'er size, compared to 26" but can highly recommend Continental "Tour All" as an inner tube for 700C/29'er to help reduce flats. They also make them for 26" tubes. I run the Conti tubes in all my bikes, both 26" and 29'er. Give them a try in your 29"er. They really helped my flat problem w/o adding extra weight.

Answer:	Hi....not sure if they are weight rated. I have a 42lb Marin Quake 7.2 and I weigh 235 and I only downhill rough terrain and these tire are ABSOLUTELY GREAT!! I have 62 runs on my current set. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Honestly, the tread is probably thick enough especially depending on how skilled you are at this kind of project. I personally wouldn't risk it. You'll end up spending 50 and change for the tires, another 15 to 20 for a stud kit. You can probably find a studded winter tire for 65 to 75 dollars. You gotta figure if it fails, you just wasted the same amount of money as if you would have bought actual winter tires

Answer:	Yes, you should be fine. I switch to 4.8's for snow, and back to 4.0's . I use the same stock 4.0 tubes without any issues.

will it work on a 700c wheel

Answer:

these run 1.5 inch or 38 mm wide. I cannot run them in the rear of my singlespeed track frame but I can run them in the front using a touring fork. They do as well on pavement as you would expect a knobby in touring forks to do. That is, they are fine in a straight line. Cornering is fine all things considered but they will not hold as well as road tire in aggresive turns. Be prepared for a good deal of rolling rsistance if you are switching these in for road tires.
