Answer:	In most cases, Nest thermostats can get enough power from your system’s heating and cooling wires. But in a small number of situations you may need to connect a common or C wire to deliver enough consistent power to your thermostat when your heating and cooling wires are not able to deliver the needed power for your Nest thermostat. Battery drain issues normally happen when the power from your heating and cooling system goes out. The 2 AAA alkaline batteries are used as a backup, or to supplement if your system can’t deliver enough power.

Answer:	With the wattage and amperage it says it can supply it should easily be able to handle 2 lamps. Just run a strip off the plug and only have them 2 lamps controlled by the thermostat. AGAIN, as long as it will handle what they say it can handle. A 100watt bulb should only pull just under 1 amp.

Answer:	I don't know the answer to that question ... the thermostat is available for as little as $28 on eBay. I actually have this thermostat intact with the cover that I was unable to use because of complications with installing my new furnace ... maybe we could work out something here ...

Answer:	This thermostat provides electronic control of 24VAC heating and cooling systems. You can see in the picture the switches for heat/cool and fan/auto. That's pretty much the definition of HVAC. It's a four-wire and if you see four on your old system to can be extra sure of no problems.

Question:	Is this product able to control whole home humidifiers
Answer:	Based on Samsung's website - YES, this will work with SmartThings! I have had one of these thermostats for a few years now and have been content with using it just through wifi - I plan to play around with this now that I know it is compatible!! I know this is an old post, BUT - I love this thermostat and would absolutely use it again.
Question:	Can you use the temperature schedule on the unit, and also apple homekit geofencing to get the benefits of both rather than either or
Answer:	It will reconnect automatically once your power comes back on as long as the modem/router also comes back on and reconnects to the internet.
Question:	What is difference between this thermostat and the white wifi version
Answer:	I called Honeywell and was told the "C" wire is blue and in fact mine is blue. I have no black wire. I have 5 wires yellow, white, blue, green and red. I was told I could check for AC voltage by connecting my meter to the red and blue wires. The Honeywell tech was very helpful. 800 468-1502.
Question:	Does this have the capability of showing me a temperature chart of the past 12 hrs
Answer:	There is no functional difference between the two. This TH9320WF5003 is white and the RTH9580WF1005 is silver. The RTH9580WF1005 is the retail model with a 1 year warranty and this one is intended to be a contractor only model with a 5 year warranty. Honeywell's former policy was that the TH9320WF5003 warranty wouldn't be honored if not installed by a contractor. However, they have since changed this. You now get 1 year with this too if you install it yourself.

Answer:	I had to use the App to setup wifi connection. I control it on my phone and directly at the T-stat. Did not see a Web site as an option.

Question:	How does the Air Circulate option work? Can it turn on the fan automatically every hour when the heat/cool is not on
