Answer:	Absolutely! This is not a film developer, it is a slide/negative digitizer. Which just means it's a specialized scanner specifically for turning slides & negatives into JPEG graphic files.

Answer:	I don't use a SD card. I save direct onto the device then hook up directly to the computer via the USB No problems encountered saving and the deleting. Hope this helps.
Question:	Does the A6400 shoot in 4K@60fps
Answer:	I believe this product is great, especially for its price point. There are 2 things it's not: 1) A high end professional scanner for Pro photographers. 2) A high volume machine - you have to scan each slide/negative then upload it to your computer, do some editing/clean up. But if you have some highly desirable film you want to upload to fb and don't mind doing some work - this will do the job. Otherwise send you film to a service and let them do it.

However if you use a lens with OSS (Optical Steady Shot), then the lack of in body stabilization should be mostly negated. Both of the kit lens options have OSS, as do many other nicer lenses. Answer:	a7R3 with MC-11 adapter for Canon lenses "hunts" a LOT and for me was not acceptable except to use on manual for macro work. Thus, I expect the adapters will not work for the R4 either. You would not want to buy this great camera and then use Canon lenses. Besides the functionality questions, from a business perspective, Canon and Nikon are getting so far behind Sony and are way undercapitalized compared to Sony, I see their problem getting worse and Sony continuing to rapidly gain market share. The value of my Canon lenses dropped dramatically in the time it took me to bite the bullet and sell all my Canon equipment.

Answer:	John, Install the drivers first, so that when you power up the scanner it will be recognized. I think you will be happy with this scanner. It isn't the fastest around, but the results are worth the wait. I think some of my old slides (1960's and 1970's) look better than they did originally.

Answer:	I also found the SilverFast software to be horrible. I HIGHLY recommend VueScan by Hamrick Software (http://www.hamrick.com). It can utilize ALL the features of the OpticFilm 82001 (including infrared) and is much more intuitive. Available for Macintosh, Windows and Linux computer at a very reasonable cost (you can either by the current edition with free upgrades for a year for $30 or the Professional version with free lifetime upgrades for $80). They have been around for a very long time and it is constantly upgraded. It supports just about every scanner imaginable!

Answer:	Yes. You will probably need the latest software update from LaserSoft. Nice scanner.

Answer:	This software is excellent but like any good, flexible program, one must take the time to learn it. Another issue is that Amazon keeps reviews that are old, old, and old. This is tech stuff and a 5 year old review is worthless. Heck a one year old review is worthless.

Answer:	No familiar with that product. To my knowledge, it only scans negatives from common films (135, 127, 126, 110) and 8MM movie film.

Answer:	There are 3 physical sizes of SD. Standard, mini, micro. Wolverine takes a standard version. I think they make adapters for smaller SD cards to fit into a Standard. Also, I did notice that the Standard SD cards goes into the Wolverine ‘upside down’.

Answer:	The converter comes with a slide tray as well as a tray that accommodates various sizes of negatives. All are free standing and easily slide into the device. I would presume that the manufacturer can provide replacements for any component. Suggest you contact Wolverine directly via their website.

Answer:	No it will not. You need a professional level scanner especially if you want to scan images shot for any business like wedding photos. Hasselblad makes an interesting design, but it❜s pricey and it handles up to 4” - 5” with 135 smallest and 645/120 the sweet spot for resolution, generates around 385MB huge file if you want them that big. Or you can try a top-level flatbed transparency option by Linotype-Hell or a related company.
Question:	What is the difference between this model and the sony wh-1000xm3 (without the "b" at the end of the model number) which costs
Answer:	Yes. Their plastic slide holder has slots for the slide and it's cardboard frame. I was able to copy over 100 slides in no time, and loved the quality, especially since the sides were over 50 years old!

Answer:	If the negative was good and in focus, I believe you could make a 8 x 10 in without a problem.I used Photoshop to clean up some minor issues, like dust I failed to get off of the negative. I was very pleased with the old family photo's. This isn't a commercial unit, which might cost $2,500-$4,000.
