Question:	How is the AT2020PLUS different from the regular AT
Answer:	I have both. The AT2020 was great for general recording purposes, but for singing or voiceover I do LOVE the monitor jack and the slider. The slider will let you balance what comes into your monitor (your earbuds, headphones, whatever you plug in to the jack) so you can choose how much of the mic versus the PC comes into your ears. This gets important because if you rely on the PC to feed your voice back to you, there is a slight signal delay that can get awkward. You don't have to use the monitor, and it doesn't affect the act of recording. Hope that helps!

Answer:	Yes, I'm running Windows 10 with Audacity recording software. By the way, with this one-directional mic, it's very important to be speaking INTO THE BLUE LIGHT behind the screen. Answer:	The best pickup distance is about 3-8 inches. I'm afraid this mic won't capture the student voice clearly. Though we have a wireless USB handheld mic K034 (Asin: B073JLFYX8). You can pass the wireless mic to student to while the USB is still plugged in your computer to receive audio signal to get it recorded or amplified out.

Answer:	Do you mean a single channel wireless system? The BLX14/CVL? In either case, yes, you will be able to run both systems simultaneously. Each frequency band of the BLX can run numerous transmitters at the same time without interfering with each other. If you also happen to have the BLX14/CVL, you can also purchase the BLX288/PG58 in the same frequency band so that you can have back up transmitters/receivers in case any of them fail.

You can either choose to monitor the inputs using the Direct Monitor switch, or you can use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW. If using the Direct Monitor feature the input signal will be passed directly to the line and headphone outputs, whereas if you use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW, you will be hearing the audio you're recording back from your DAW. Answer:	Hi, When recording a single microphone, you should ensure that you create a mono audio track in your DAW instead of a stereo audio track. When you record onto a mono audio track, the output from that track will be heard on both sides of your headphones or speakers (ensuring the output is set to stereo), however, if you record onto a stereo track, the audio will just be recorded onto the left side of a stereo file and you will ony hear it on the left of your headphones/speakers. Question:	The mute button won't turn off how do i fix it
Answer:	The mic mute button always stays lit. The color of the lite changes. The earphones should unmute, if you hit the button again. Your computer should indicate whether or not the mute is on for the earphones. It's worth noting that the buttons for the headphones work with your system sound. Some apps, such as web browser, have their own sound settings. You can fiddle with your computer to get all of these audio pieces working together.
Question:	I have Windows 10 and the microphone will not connect. I have tried troubleshooting and now I'm getting frustrated and about to return it. Tips
Answer:	I had no trouble using the USB connection. It took Win 10 about 30 seconds to find it, install a driver, and good to go. I did not try using the 3.5 mm connection to my computer. It works great. You may have a defective unit. Bummer and a hassle, but that's what returns are for.
Question:	Does it block backaround noise well
Answer:	The "Noise Reduction" feature is simply referring to the ability to turn down the volume in line. There is no noise reduction logic like with many higher quality headsets, and the mic is completely non-directional. I listened to the mic through the headset speakers using device settings in windows, and could hear quiet mouse clicks, tapping my finger on my computer, table, or chair, and key clicks. *much louder* than they actually were. Despite having a boom mic, these noises were happening on the opposite side of the hole in the boom, several feet away.
Question:	I can't hear myself through the mic. I know other people can hear me through the mic. Any thoughts
Answer:	It is 100% percent normal and desirable to hear yourself through a mic on a headset designed for phone calls (Skype, etc.) as this one is. The cheap $30 Logitech headset commonly found on Amazon (a competitor to this MPow device) has this behavior by default. I decided to try this MPow headset because the $30 Logitech headsets crap out after a few years. Anyway, imagine you are in a phone call with perfectly sealed headphones that only allow you to hear the other caller, not yourself. This is very annoying. I can hear my own voice only from whatever muffled sound can penetrate through the ear pads. This has the tendency to make me speak even louder so I can hear myself, and I end up yelling. I did try the Listen to This Device" tic box under the Windows 10 control panel for the microphone, and it resulted in unacceptable feedback, so I am still searching for the right settings to make it work.

Answer:	Yes you can. I plug mine into a Zoom H4n using the XLR output and into my computer using the USB output for recording my podcast. It works great.

Answer:	Can confirm that it works, using it this way right now. I hadn't been using the monitor jack just assuming that it'd mean I couldn't hear system audio without going through external speakers and I didn't want that. I actually came looking for windscreen options (besides the old sock missing it's other half I've got now) and came across this question/answer so I opened up the playback device properties and set the USB microphone speakers as default. Works like a charm.
Question:	How close do you have to have the mic in order for it to get good volume? Can I sit back a bit, or do I have to be right on top of it
Answer:	It's a dynamic mic, therefore it will not pick up any outside noise. You can easily talk directly into the microphone or 2 to 6 inches away for best quality without any distortion. If you lean back and talk from couple of feet away, you will still be heard but your voice will sound in the distance. Needless to say this mic is simply awesome and has much clearer sound than my $300 + mics. Get it. You'll love it. Good luck.

Answer:	Hi. I connected it to my stereo and it worked fine for about 30 minutes. When I checked on it 30 minutes later, it was way too hot to even touch. I unplugged it and put it in the junk box. It worked well for 30 minutes though. Sorry I couldn't assist you more.

Answer:	Before mine overheated and caught on fire, I never could figure out preset stations. It would never keep anything in memory. This receiver was completely junk.
Question:	I cannot get the remote to work from more than 3 inches away. Why? I have the unit about 10 feet off the ground under the roof on my boat dock
