Answer:	I have walked awhile with it. It is way better than carrying the pet, but after awhile they get heavy. I used it with my older cat who was about 8lbs and I've used it with my growing puppy. She was 6lbs and it worked great, and is now 23lbs and way too big but it helps for when she gets tired to give me just enough support to keep her up. It also makes you hot after awhile too.
