Answer:	I believe it means that the position of the Reed is locked down on the plate so the ligature can only go on one way on the mouthpiece.

Answer:	Don't know about Martin. I'm pleased with the Versa ligature but I can't compare it to the vandoren leather. The web fabric ligature has very solid support and the band in front molds to your mouthpiece. I believe it would hold its support longer than a leather which would stretch out eventually.
Question:	Will this take the tarnish off of a cover plate on a dobro
Answer:	In my opinion, it should work well with either plastic or hard rubber. I've been very happy with mine, as I like it better than the older models.
Question:	Can i use this to clean the inside of a silver flute
Answer:	if you mean the teethguard, yes separately. if the ligature insert is you are talking about, I have never seen it sold separately. I would go to home depot or ace´s hardware and have them show me a piece I could buy and insert it.

Answer:	The 500 series is considered their professional line. The basic flutes are the 200 series (ie, Yamaha 222, 282, etc) and the step up models are the 300 and 400 series (ie, Yamaha 382, 462, etc. ). That said, this price range overlaps heavily with other brands’ higher-level step-up models. So in terms of price point, it would be comparable to step-up/advanced intermediate models.
Question:	l just got one, and the pieces are really hard to put together. I've never had that with a different flute. Is that how all these flutes are made

Answer:	No, all 200, 300, and 400 model flutes are made in Japan - all of them, no matter the American version or the international versions. You have to buy a 500 series or higher for the flute to be made in Japan. That said, these are very high quality instruments.

Answer:	No. None at all. But what I found better that I like and is much more responsive to my playing is ROVNER, the DARK ligature. Great tone. I also have the OPTIMUM. It is my next pick but my favorite is the ROVNER.

Answer:	Finish is difficult to qualify but using the metal versus a plastic ligature appears to give a clearer and brighter sound.
Question:	Is this for the outside or can it be used on the inside as well
Answer:	No and yes. The Vandoren is much lighter weight metal than my Bonade inverted ligatures. Check how you are storing your Bonade, it should not need "remolding" for each use. Something in the case may be bending it. They are substantial ligatures. The Vandoren, being lighter, should restrain the reed's vibrations less. It might seem a bit brighter or richer than the Bonade. The M/O is my preference of the two.
Question:	How to clean the cloth without losing the polishing capability
Answer:	Considering that all b-flat clarinets are usually the same size, yes this will indeed fit the LJ Hutchen B-flat clarinet.

Answer:	I have ben using Wrights copper cleaner for over 30 years. I cannot imagine why it would not work on copper pennies

Answer:	Yes, it works on all levels of tarnish, but as jwintle mentioned, it might take more than one session of polishing. What I have done for heavy tarnish is to apply the cream and let it sit awhile; then rinse. Always dry immediately to avoid spots on your item.

Answer:	I can not see any reason it could not be used to brighten up copper jewelry, it takes hardly any rubbing at all. I have used it everyday since 1950 on all my wedding copper bottom pans, they look like new.

Answer:	No. The lacquer has to be removed otherwise the copper will look splotchy. I just refinished a coffee table removing all lacquer. It was worth the effort. Looks beautiful.

Answer:	For the metal part of the piece, if it is silver, gold (14 k and 18 k) and platinum, use the white cloth. If your piece has porous stones such as opals, pearls, malachite, turquoise, and the like, avoid the stone when using the white cloth. If the white cloth accidentally touches the stone is not going to damage it. To clean this type of gems, use the gray cloth, which is untreated. For other stones known as hard stones, such as amethyst, peridot, citrine, aquamarine, emerald, diamond and sapphire, you can use the white cloth.
Question:	Can you wash this when it's dirty and use it again after?and if so what kind of soap like laundry detergent?and could u wash in the washer Machine if
Answer:	The polishing cloth has the cleaning ingredients impregnated in the white cloth. These ingredients get released every time a piece of jewelry is polished. Washing the cloth will remove the remaining cleaning ingredients, for that reason it shouldn't be washed. Something important to know: The black stains left in the cloth are the tarnish and the contaminants that had been removed from the metal. The polishing cloth keeps cleaning even having the black stains. You can keep using it as long as you see your pieces getting shiny. The gray part of the cloth is untreated and you can wash it any way you wish and keep it to buffer plated pieces of jewelry or soft porous stones (good for eyeglasses and cell phones too!)
