Answer:	Good Compass but not great Hold down on one of the buttons and the watch face becomes a compass. It shows the degrees (0-360) and the general direction (SE for example). You would not use this watch to plot a course on a map. For that, you can buy a compass for less than $20 that lie flat on a map, can be adjusted for a magnetic correction, they have lines, etc.

Answer:	There is no max amperage rating because all it is, is a plastic housing that holds your existing cord. You do not cut any cords and hardwire them into the housing.

Answer:	what is shown is the male end of whatever you are plugging in. In my case, I bought 2 of these, and on the other end of both is a Minnkota 210D 2 bank battery charger. One in the front of my 19 foot Starcraft fishing for the 2 deep cycle bow mount electric trolling motor batteries, and one in the rear for the 2 starting motor batteries. I have them mounted in the rear motorwell wall, so when I get home from fishing, I just plug in my 120 volt y-connector on the end of an extension cord, and my batteries are charging so they are ready for the next outing. These just clamp over the existing male end of whatever you are wanting to plug in so there are no loose plug ins laying around in the boat.

Answer:	I have the HRM Tri and I can get all advanced running data and analysis. The only difference between them is that the Tri version has a memory inside, so it stores data from the swimming portion. Other than that, they are the same.
Question:	How is the durability of this watch
Answer:	My worked great for 18 months. I loved it. Wore it daily. 2 full ironman races 3 halves and several other smaller races. Then I used it for 2 Xterra races. It quit halfway through Worlds on Maui. Bummer. Near as I can tell one of the buttons is frozen. I guess mountain biking is too much for it. I'm ordering a second watch but this time I will save it for training and races only. Get a cheapo Timex for daily wear and no more Xterra races with the Garmin just to be safe.
Question:	Can the watch be charged while running
Answer:	All the functions seem to work with the charging clip attached, but the clip would be incredibly uncomfortable if attached to the watch while being worn. The clip attaches to the watch at the "3 o'clock" position and is fairly bulky. It would likely interfere with the function of the on-board heart rate monitor since it clips to the bottom and top of the watch.

Question:	What is the difference between the sport version and the premium version of the Vivomove HR
Answer:	Not designed to fit in a standard plate. For indoor use, you'll have to cut a hole with a hole saw and drill for the screw holes. Use screws and nuts to attach to the plate. Use a blank metal plate for that. It'll be a tight fit in a single-gang standard box so you use a double gang box or 4-square metal box with blank cover you've drilled. If you are putting it outside there are weatherproof covers that have multiple inserts with options for switches and other sizes of receptacles, it's likely it has an insert to fit. I used one of these and had to drill the holes and also cut a backing plate to reinforce it. Use double-gang deep box to make it easier.
