Tile uses Bluetooth to establish connection between a Tile and a mobile device. Compared to GPS, it's less battery intensive and is a better fit for our customers. Question:	Do samsung phones still have the issue where the phone forces the tile app to go to sleep even though the os is set to never allow tile app to sleep
Answer:	Yes. September 2020 and this is still a problem. I can never locate my phone with my key tag because of this. I have set the app to be able to locate on the background. In phone settings I have set it to 'never sleep'. Samsung and tile just don't get along. However, finding all the other stuff I lost works just fine. Just re open the app.

You can download the app called "silvercloud" for your phone.
Question:	Is there a monthly fee and the cost of different plans
Answer:	As of January 2021, it costs me approximately $15. a month, to ping the device every 3 minutes. Works very well for me! There are other plans; this is the cheapest one.

Answer:	Hi Tony, Thank you for the question. At this time we are not recommending using the TrackR pixel or TrackR bravo for vehicles, as they do not offer live GPS Tracking. However, with our Last Seen Location, TrackRs can be useful to keep tabs on your vehicle in a large parking lot, or an unfamiliar city. The devices check in with the TrackR app when it is open and Bluetooth is on. Once the device goes outside of your phone's Bluetooth range, you will see a 'Last Seen Location' with date and time, representing the last check in made. While there are competing products available that claim to offer the separation alert feature, it is clear from customer reviews that this feature does not function reliably. We want to ensure that any features we release to our customers continue to live up to that standard. While Tile doesn't currently offer a general separation alert, you can sign up for a Premium account to gain access to Smart Alerts! With Smart Alerts, you can designate specific locations for individual Tiles in order to be notified if you leave them behind. This feature uses geofencing to notify you when a Tile has been left behind, as opposed to a general break in connection. Answer:	I've also used earthquake putty to stick Tiles to remotes. A tiny dab goes a long way. Yes, it gets dirty after a while; if that bothers you, just replace the putty.

Question:	Is there a added cost to use this item
Answer:	Yes, you can purchase, “ Premium Service “, which is about $30.00/ year.( I do have it). You can make settings with a Premium that will remind you ,that you left something behind,(via cell text). Premium will also show you a map of where the last place your item was while you were last in range of it. You can then go to that area and hope your back in range of it’s Bluetooth and Find it! For $30./ year, if it helps me find just one item that got lost,(and had a Tile ), It would be worth every penny.
Question:	Can I use the tile to locate the septic tank in a home
Answer:	Hello there, That's a great question and definitely a rare one! Now locating the septic tank could be a bit tricky. A few variables could affect the Bluetooth connection as well as the water resistance. With the Tle Pro 2020 just being water resistant, the possibility of it taking in liquid is likely. If you were to attempt using Tile to track it, the best option would be a Tile Sticker due to its size and waterproof rating. It's important to note that while Tile has the ability to reliably track personal belongings, it wasn't specifically designed for locating septic tanks underground. I hope this helps! Question:	Is there any warning that your battery is getting low on the Tile Pro
Answer:	Nope. If you don't check them frequently you'll only find out your batteries are low when the app tells you the item hasn't checked in for a few days/weeks. That's the achilles heel for these things. When you actually lose something and need to use the app to find it- then it will tell you the batteries are dead. I'm buying a new set of keys and key fob today for my car because the battery died and I didn't realize it until my keys were lost. I paid for the 'premium' version to see my tracking history and looks like the battery has been dead for a month. I would have really liked a warning that the battery was low before then. I then found out 4 of my other tiles have dead batteries, but the battery replacement service is based on time and not actual battery life so I had to replace all those batteries on my own even when paying for the premium service. So unless you're checking the battery yourself every day you're out of luck when the battery dies. I bought 8 tiles total last year, pro and regular and only half of the batteries lasted a full year. I would replace them every 6 months on a high value item like car keys.
