Answer:	I don't have them in my to measure them but the full body think about the size of a trident gum back...round bases think the size of an oreo cookie the models are small but they do help with studying basic parts locations....some are not very easy to put together, to the point once I got them to stay together I didnt touch them. I like them they served their purpose for anatomy

Answer:	THEY suddenly appear on the one side when you push. Otherwise looks look or normal vertebrae and disc. Good cheap way to show a bulge. Not $200 quality but patients get the idea.
Question:	when you flex and bend vertebrae, do the bulges suddenly appear or are they always shown
Answer:	As the picture shows, it takes a good amount of compression of the anterolareral portion of the two vertebral bodies in order to create enough pressure to mimic disc rupture. The perimeter of the “disc” is trussed with thick string so the limited side-bending motion of the model would not allow for side extrusions if that answers your question. It does not rotate. I read others’ reviews before buying who mentioned that in some cases the model disc actually popped. For that reason, I didn’t let students play with it (and these are adult college students) but instead walked around with it to show them how it worked so I could hopefully prevent abuse of it causing it to break in their hands.
