Answer:	there is no need for a SIM card. you activate the device online and it starts tracking within 15 minutes. It works on a PC/laptop and has more functionality from a computer vs. a phone. go to https://www.landairsea.com . This site is where you can manage your account. You can download the app called "silvercloud" for your phone.
Question:	Is there a monthly fee and the cost of different plans
Answer:	As of January 2021, it costs me approximately $15. a month, to ping the device every 3 minutes. Works very well for me! There are other plans; this is the cheapest one.

Question:	How long does the battery last per charge
Answer:	Typically the battery last about 2 months per charge. However, the longevity of the charge depends on the movement of the vehicle. For instance, if the vehicle is moving frequently the battery may discharge more quickly since it has to update our servers and send data more frequently. If the vehicle only moves a few times a week, the battery will last longer because the device enters sleep mode and it updates our service at a lower frequency. Our GPS tracking service does monitor the battery life for you, you can configure the system to automatically send you an e-mail or text message when the charge is below a certain level. You can also monitor the battery charge yourself as you login to the application. The max amount of time the device can last on a single charge is 240 days, this is based on the unit being in sleep/standby mode. After the initial charge it will take between 8-12 hours to charge an empty battery to 100%.
Question:	Does this have an app
Answer:	Yes! This has an awesome app for iOS devices and the same app for Android devices. Alternatively you can login at tracking.global-view.net and use the desktop experience!
Question:	Can you pay the fee for a month, then cancel for a month, then pay for a month? In other words, can you pay for only when you are using it
Answer:	Hello, Yes you can. You will just need to remember to cancel before you are billed again. Once you cancel you lose all access to the device, even if you have already pre-paid for a month. So again just make sure you send us an email or cancel yourself on PayPal a day or two before your next scheduled bill date.
Question:	Does it blink or make any noises
Answer:	Hello, The device will blink initially when you turn on the device, it will also blink intermittently. You can cover up the light with black electrical tape if you want to make sure there is no light coming from the device. The sound does not make any noises. Hope that helps!

Answer:	It probably will, it has over 160,000 trails that are all over the country built in to it, and you also can download trails that other people have uploaded that you might be interested in also.

Answer:	This is a 2G device and does not support 3G/4G areas at all, get real please. I did not even get a chance to check the battery life because in Greater Chicago area this 2G device does not work at all. Did return it.

Answer:	$5/ Month is mentioned in your product description. There is also another $5 per month for the SIM card and the data plan. Is this $5 for the SIM on top of the $5/month fee? Does that mean that I need to spend $10/month to use your service?
Question:	I am very interested in installing one of these on my snowmobiie handlebar. i have a garmin nuvi 265w. its body size is 3" x 5 1/2". will it fit
Answer:	The inside of the holder measures 5 3/4 X 3 3/4 so it should fit. I have a TomTom 5 1/4 X 3 1/2 and it fits. On another note, it may seem to be obvious, but make sure that you have room on the handlebars to fit it in.
Question:	will this fit the nuvi
Answer:	I am sure it would. It is deep and I had a 2597 and had to keep some of the included padding inside. Notice it states "water resistant" and not "water proof?" It kept my GPS dry during the rain but took days for the moisture to dry out after just 1 ride in rain. The included padding holds moisture so I would toss the padding!! I never used the contraption again, mostly cuz I went from a 1980 cb900c with no windshield to a 98 goldwing and RAM GPS mounting system.
Question:	Overheating issues? I have read sporadically that this might cause the unit to overheat and/or, at least, malfunction if not damage it altogether
Answer:	I have not had any issues here in Florida with overheating of my 5 inch Garmin in this. I do not leave it on the bike parked in the sun either though, I always stow it away or park inside. Riding around, even in the rain.... No over heating.... never gotten wet.... Great Device.
Question:	Will this work with a Garmin nuvi 2595LMT 5" screen
Answer:	Garmin do not have that, but I use it with a cell z1 sony xperia 5'' screen, so if you used as a reference to determine the measures to be used in it.
