Question:	How to request stations that are missing
Answer:	The new radios play all the content as the old ones and more. If there is any station you listened to on the old radios that you can’t find on the new ones, contact Grace and they will assist you as some stations have moved either under internet radio or into the audio services folder.
Question:	Does it run streaming services natively? Pandora, iHeartRadio, spotify
Answer:	You currently cannot set presets on the app. You can set presets on the radio or via the included infra red remote control app. The presets are above the large knob . There are 10 presets. 1-5 then you press shift and the 5 buttons are preset 6-10. i.e. if you look a the close up image you will see P1 - P10 with P being short for preset. The 5 keys under the display are soft keys which means they change definition depending on the menu. They are typically to fast forward and rewind or skip / pause content but have other uses as well. The definition of what they do show up on the display above the buttons when there is a function associated with them. You can also register the radio to the Grace web portal where you can create a My stuff folder to save unlimited number of stations onto the radio.
Question:	How specific is the search function menu? For example, can you search for a specific progressive talk show host
Answer:	I chatted with Grace Digital earlier this week and they said "probably by next week" being the week of Feb 8. I'm less than optimistic of their prediction, considering the the Pandora roll-out for the Grace Link has been pushed multiple times since October of 2020. I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later---we're probably close.
Question:	Does it play fm hd radio in USA
Answer:	There is no built in speaker, it’s a tuner to connect the internet to a stereo or powered speakers. Grace makes other models with built in speakers like the Grace Mondo Elite Classic. So yes, you can hook speakers to it but they need to be powered speakers.

Answer:	Short answer: Frontier Silicon. Long Answer: You can search for stations and podcasts from the radio's menu or do similar tasks from the Frontier Silicon portal, www.wifiradio-frontier.com. Note that this isn't a broker/curation/suggestion service like Pandora or Spotify. Frontier is just a registry of URLs for radio stations and podcasts . It's like you went to the station's website and clicked on a 'listen to our life stream' link (except instead of your web browser playing the content, the radio does it).
Question:	Can the alarm be set to a Spotify playlist, so one could wake up in the morning to that playlist of music
Answer:	I haven't set up Spotify since I'm not a subscriber but my guess is yes, that would work. When I create an alarm, you select the source (internet radio for me), the preset, the time, the volume, and the frequency (one-time, weekdays only, weekends only etc).

Answer:	This is not an AM radio, but it will pick up any broadcast station, AM or FM, that streams its content onto the internet, and there are thousands of such stations. The radio syncs with a web site that lets you search and scan for, listen to and save these stations as presets you can access from the front dial or remote. I have had this about 4 months and love it!
Question:	Can this radio power larger unpowered speakers via the audio out jack? Or, must external speakers be either powered or go through an external amp
Answer:	only powered speakers/device via audio out jack, but unpowered can be driven via headphone jack

Answer:	You probably mean Fidelity and loudness. Yes. the speaker can be loud and it has a nice range. however I do connect it to an external speaker for added Bass and range.

Answer:	Hi - I did not know the answer to your question until I tried it on my rig. I turned it on to confirm reception of a favorite station then I unplugged it to simulate a power outage. When I plugged it back in I was both surprised and delighted to see it come back up all by itself and start playing the same programming as though nothing had happened to the power. I Love This Radio!

Answer:	I think for a little while. I have a Sangean HDR-18 radio, very similiar to this receiver in operation. I have unplugged it to move it and I did not loose any preset radio stations.

Question:	Why does a radio cost $250? how does this differ from the one on my Yamaha tsr 7790 bl receiver
Answer:	It's a tuner, not a radio, just to get terminology correct. Why does it cost $250? Because it is not an expensive tuner, is really part of the answer. They could perhaps sell it for less if the market for separate tuners were larger, as it was 40, 30, even 20 years ago. But the market is fading, due to the vastly increased choices for music on the internet. Streaming music of any genre these days, without commercials, is replacing home FM. Most FM users are in their cars these days. So manufacturers can only sell so many separate home tuners, but design and tooling up costs the same whether you build 100,000 units or a million. If you sell fewer widgets, you must charge more per widget. Really, how they sell it as inexpensively as they do is a more logical question. It differs from your receiver in that it has its own power supply and chassis, which give it a chance to sound better, with lower noise. Good tuners cost more than this even in the 70s. Technology helps keep costs down, as well as offshore production. Magnum Dynalab sells some pretty nice tuners these days - google them and check out their pricing.

Answer:	I am not exactly sure what you are asking. This device is a radio with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It is not a 'smart' device like an iPhone, computer or Alexa. It will not run apps so you cannot run Apple iTunes or Amazon Music apps on it. However, it can act as a Bluetooth speaker. Why you would want to do that I am not sure. The Wi-Fi function will allow you to connect with any UPnP or DLNA compatible server on a Wi-Fi network so you can stream music files that are on that device. I hope this helps.

Answer:	No, pandora has not approved the addition of their service yet, looks like approval has slipped to middle or late January due to holiday schedules of developers and testers. Your radio will show that the software has upgraded and Pandora will be in the top of the audio services folder menu when it is released. In the meantime, you can cast pandora from a smartphone to the radio then control the station from the front of the radio. Please do a google search for ‘ chromecast built in audio’ and you can see the advantages of chromecast over Bluetooth as example.
Question:	can external speakers be connected to it
Answer:	No, but you can buy other radios and put them in the same room or anyplace in your home and synchronize the audio (or play separate music). You can create zones of radios as well as pair them with any other brands chromecast enabled speakers and control it via a google home as an option.

Answer:	There are multiple options: 1) 10 presets 2) 50 stations in your my history folder 3) register the radio to the Grace web site where you can manage the stations that are in your 'my stuff' folder. You can create sub folders and store an unlimited number of stations. This is performed on the web site, note the radio, but the web site will then push the stations and folders to the radio. You cannot add stations into the my stuff folder directly from the radio.
