Answer:	It is pretty hard to measure because the tip wraps around the edge a bit, but the ball seems to be 00.025 of an inch and it makes a line about 0.030 of an inch. The insert looks like a regular ball point pen insert, it is not the kind that gets wider after the spring and contains more ink.
