Answer:	Mine does. All holes for ports were in the right place but I have to say my son's Ipad is about 20 months old.. not sure what model.

Answer:	I have the iPad 4 & it puts it in sleep/standby mode as nichart answered on 1/13. You have to completely turn the iPad off with the off button at the top right of my version & probably yours. One thing I learned recently is don't charge your iPad each time you use it or when the battery has lots of reserve in it. Use it until the battery is almost used up and then recharge it. The iPad only has so many charges so make good use of each one.

Answer:	The case is really not designed to stand vertically, though it can. Much like an open book that would stand vertically if you moved the front/back cover to an angle that would permit this.Horizontally, I'd say the horizontal angle is maybe 40 degrees...the other (horizontal) as displayed on the Amazon page appears to be maybe about 70-80 degrees .
Question:	Can you view landscape and portrait using the stand
Answer:	No, not using the stand normally ... But if you want to view portrait you can open the cover like a book and the iPad will stand vertically on a table or flat surface.
