Question:	Is it hard to install the Ipad in the case
Answer:	No coffee pods or k-cups can be used in it. Also, no refillables work. Only Illy capsules work on this model.

Question:	Is it waterproof
Answer:	If a person's business requires that they have an espresso machine available 24-7-365-10, (or whatever your opening hours are) you will need a back-up machine. Also, if the machine is kept on so it is ready instantly to make an espresso it will reduce the life of the boiler coil, and perhaps other components too. The tank, if washed and dried at the end of the day and then filled the next day would support at least 10 espressos if not 15. Also note that if you are making a Latte or other frothed milk drink, that is done at a different temperature than making espresso. The machine would need to cycle up to the frothing temperature, and then cool down for the next drink. The whole process of starting from a cool machine to serving a drink would be around 5 minutes. Frothing milk to get microfoam is a learned experience, and the machine pictured has a new frother that would work differently than what I have so I cannot comment on the ability of the current X1 to make microfoam other than to say that over the decades since the x-1 was first produced with an aluminum boiler, to 3 or 4 years ago when I bought my last one, illy has continually upgraded the machine. The one I have today works much better than the one I had in 2002. I certainly like it for home use (although I do use a model that has a portafilter that accepts ground coffee, not pods.) A number of the arguments above including employee time required might suggest that a more professional machine might serve a business better.

In a general sense they are about the same size. Perhaps when questioning the size you meant compatible? I don't have a K cup capsules for comparison but I am sure that the illy capsules are not K cup machine compatible.

Answer:	Nespresso (Nescafe) is a totally different system/style from Illy, which is almost exclusively espresso. At the end of the day, no machine makes a better espresso than an Illy with Iperespresso pods--consistently the same, cup after cup.
