Answer:	As I remember, it was printed on back of the CD package. This is a mini CD so maybe you did not see it. Also, I see there was another answer saying the output quality was low. I do not find that to be the case. I play my converted 8mm videos on a 55" screen and I think they look as good as the original tapes.

Answer:	I've done this with numerous devices and it works fine (as long as if the connectors fit of coarse). Only problem would be framerate and resolution. I believe framerate is locked in at 30 fps and resolution has 3 options: 720*480 352*480 352*240. This is great if you're playing on an older console like the ps1 or even ps2 (keep in mind that you're working with a 4:3 aspect ratio). Video editing can fix this issue though. Also, did notice video/audio sync issues with the 720*480 resolution option. Fortunately, the sync issue was consistant so video editing allowed me to fix that. FINAL VERDICT: If you are looking for hd 60fps video recording, this is not the device for you. However, if you're looking for the cheapest way to capture decent gameplay footage, this device should do the trick. Hope this was helpful. (Also, if you can tell me the exact console you are wanting to capture with this, I might be able to confirm that it works)

Question:	Have a mac with catalina 10.15.4 the disc will not load, says not compatible. software from the website will not open. any suggestions
Answer:	I'm using Mojave (10.14.6). No problems. You don't need to download any drivers or software. By plugging the device into your USB port, it loads its own drivers. Then, with your input ready to go, you open Quicktime, do a "New Movie Recording" and then on the little dropdown next to the record button within the quicktime window, select "AV TO USB 2.0" for the Camera and "USB 2.0 MIC" for Audio. Hit record and roll the tape (or whatever).
Question:	Installed drivers, then software, then device. in showbiz capture...no device shows up. what should i do
Answer:	make sure cable connections are tight. Try to change the connections to the plugins to front or viceversa. Click play before capturing

Answer:	I have been unable to get this to work on Windows 10. I was able to get it to work on Windows 7, but not my preferred computer. Moreover, I have been unable to remove ArcSoft ShowBiz software from my Windows 10 computer. The normal windows process for uninstalling an app did not work, even in safe mode. I see no uninstaller with the software (which is quite old), so I don't know what I'm going to do.

Answer:	I use it with my camcorder and i have the menu turned off so it's not in the video. What this dongle does is turns HDMI to a web cam. So far i'm liking it does a great job.

Answer:	I'm using this with Wirecast and the only issues I have are audio. The video seems as good as with my Magewell device. The audio is inconsistent, though. I have to reconnect the device several times before the audio comes through to Wirecast. I also had to change the audio properties in Windows Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage audio devices. Select the device, click Properties and on the Advanced tab, change the default format to the highest available bit and Hz setting. The audio quality was very poor before I did this. Once things are working it's as consistent and reliable as the Magewell.

Question:	i am getting black and white output and in the manual it says to adjusting the colour encoding system, ntsc or pal. how do it
Answer:	It lights up a 10-15 foot area pretty good

Answer:	With the repeater mode, you can unplug the ethernet cable from the router and put the Homebase close to your cameras to extend the wifi range.
Question:	Can I transfer the video from my old vhs to my laptop with this
Answer:	First and foremost you just plug it into an outlet. Then you can choose either the ethernet cable or wifi in the app settings. Hope this helps.
Question:	Would this capture sound from my stereo for LP recording
Answer:	It records in increments of time which you set from 3 choices. When the card is full it will overwrite starting with the oldest increment but will not overwrite locked videos. It is loop recording in pieces.
