Question:	Once you download mp3 to your computer, can you then burn a CD to use in your car
Answer:	Yes. Depending on the software you use,.... It comes with Audacity and you can also download Audacity online. I already had it so.... Using Audacity to record, it saves as an Audacity file. Again, using Audacity, you can then convert to wav, mp3, or other formats. It does not automatically record to mp3, it records as a digital file, not mp3. So to answer your question, once recorded as a digital file, you can convert to mp3, yes.

Answer:	There is no speaker built-in. You can only listen with headphones.

Then name the audio file and choose type of file to export from the drop down list where the default type is wave file. It will show mp3. Answer:	I have found that the capture doesn't have speakers so it is difficult to get the MAC to accept it and bring it back through. Especially since my mac doesn't have a cd-rom, I have been improvising myself to death. If anyone else has been doing this, you might try to find a way to create a speaker format

Answer:	I worked with a reel to reel that has RCA jacks on Windows 10 without problems or special setup.

Answer:	On my cover of the box it states Windows 7, Vista, and XP. Win 7 is usually a good bet to work in Win 8, even if it is in x86 mode. I'd give it a try. See if it comes up when you insert the CD. If Win 8 does not like it it tells you right away.

Answer:	I bought this device to convert some of my Mother's cassettes to MP3 so that I could copy them to a USB flash drive for her car. I found that it misses the first of each track if you want it to convert all the tracks without stopping between them. The software that you use to edit the tracks is Audacity which you can get free online. I found the time involved made it a burden. I've since bought a cassette deck designed to convert the cassettes of course it costs more.

Answer:	I just bought this yesterday. I am running the latest OS X Yosemite 10.11.2 and it works *but only if you plug in the device to the USB port AFTER launching the application*. If the device is already plugged in then it does not record any sound.

Answer:	The mixed answers here might be because of the following behavior: You have to plug the device into the usb port *AFTER* launching the application. If the device is already plugged in then it does not record any sound. However if you plug in the device after the app is running and asking you to plug it in it does record sound and works just fine. I am running OS X Yosemite 10.11.2.
