Answer:	As long as your Phillips is analog it should work. This box takes digital or optical and converts it to analog if you are going from optical to digital or vise versa I don't believe it's made for that

However, 5V is the USB standard for all USB ports, so you can plug the USB cable that comes with it into any device you have which has a USB port (note: all versions of USB use 5v) e.g., the you can plug the USB cable into the USB port on your TV itself or into virtually any modern gaming console. No wall socket necessary. It's purely optional.

Answer:	This mount does not allow you to take advantage of full functionality. Your auto lens must used in manual mode. I manual focus my lens in aperture mode and it works just fine. At this price you're not going to get bells and whistles, other than a solid, well made attachment for a fraction of the price of the full-function oem device.

You can buy a 40.5-to-49mm step-up ring very cheaply which will allow you to use this macro lens on the stock 16-50mm oss lens.

Question:	I am only getting buzzing noise? using digital audio out to rca inputs on an older receiver
Answer:	I believe so, because it adds a gap between the lens and the sensor. For example I was photographing the moon the other night. This would usually mean just setting the focus to infinity and going for it. However, with the adapter on, the moon was in focus some way back from the infinity point on the focusing ring, indicating that infinity has moved further away, so to speak. Hope this helps. :-)
