Question:	Are the menus and/or station numbers spoken
Answer:	No. Menus do not speak. After menu button is pressed, station knob allows access to menu items.Doesn't appear accessible for a person who is blind.

Answer:	The alarm can be set to "Buzzer" (series of beeps) or to a radio frequency (HD stations will default to HD1 - there does not appear to be a way to set the alarm to HD2 or HD3). There are two alarms. The alarm volume starts low and then increases.
Question:	Why are there only two photos of the radio? I want to see more of the radio. Show the power cord connection and the input/output jacks
Answer:	Look on the Sangean web site for a 360 degree view of this and other radios. The user manual is also available for download.

Answer:	Yes, the built in FERRITE antenna is 8 inches long. with 2 windings wrapped 180 degrees out of phase-to minimise signal distortion of the digital signal. The other gentleman is correct about the FM whip antenna. Extended it is 27 inches long. It does EAT batteries! (Get a good AC adapter-not a cheap wall wart.)

Answer:	No. There is a gps adapter you buy that will plug in. Although it does have a map overlay as well as it lets you use Waze if you plug your phone up to the supplied usb cable. So in a way it kind of does have GPS but really just because of your phone.

Answer:	Yes this unit comes with a Remote. It is Bluetooth capable and comes with a USB cord and wired microphone for the handsfree calling. Get with it people! Jeez no one can answer simple questions on here lol

Answer:	The battery is Lithium based & is'nt prone to leakage, I would say simply wrap the battery in plastic wrap & leave in place in storage so battery is'nt lost.
Question:	What does the cc2 radio come with.does it have an ac device
Answer:	NO. It is only IPX3 (water resistant), there are IPX4 rated radios available. Water proof is IPX7 or higher. And IPX3 DOES NOT mean it can handle spraying from any direction, rather only up to 60° from the top of the device. It is not rated to handle a rainstorm in the back county without being cover up. IPX4 rating means water splashed from any direction is ok, not IPX3.
Question:	With all the free and affordable paid apps on all devices, is spending this much money on a WBR a good decision
Answer:	The radio comes with a replaceable Nmhi rechargeable battery which should last a long time if properly charged. I keep My radio on the window ledge and the solar panel keeps the charge up. I've never had to use the crank feature.
Question:	I have had 2 CC Radios before and both of them the digital display went bad. Also preset buttons acted up. Has this been corrected
Answer:	No, but you can find AC adapters that will work if you don't want to search for a hard to find and expensive Sangean adapter. The main thing is to check compatibility with the adapter specs listed in the little Sangean booklet that comes with this radio. I got an adapter for under $12 that has worked fabulously and has not caused any interference with the radio: HomeSpot 5V 2.4A Power Supply / Adapter. It has a micro USB that plugs into the power input on the Sangean, and a USB at the other end that plugs into the small adapter that includes over-charge and overheating protection. Answer:	Yes but it is the sound of a small radio. Don't expect great music sound. It is more for listening to news and talk shows.

Question:	Does this radio receive better reception on regular, distant am stations that have interference fade in and out? Stations are about 80 miles away
Answer:	I've tried out AM and from L.A. I was able to get San Diego Stations (125 miles away) pretty well. It's a nice little radio and I have it in my car for traveling. Thanks. Joe G

Answer:	Yes this portable radio receives HD1 and HD2 on FM stations that are supported by HD channel in your area but it does not support on HD on AM broadcasting but the radio itself has the best reception I received on all AM stations that I have in all my portable FM/AM radios. This radio is my best choice so I used it daily.

Answer:	I'm not sure about the jack output in stereo...But I can tell you that the radio sound itself is really surprisingly good! I have a Bose Soundlink II and the radio and bluetooth sound and connect just as well.

Answer:	I wish I could tell you, but I can say in the area is mostly rural and we're about 50 miles from the transmitters and our reception is amazing. This is an amazing radio.. good luck

Answer:	In the description near the bottom of the page, it show the dimensions as 3.23 x 9.21 x 4.8 in two separate places. At the top, it's in metric.

Answer:	It is good. I suppose it depends on the area you live in. I gave this radio to my 90 yr old mother and she is thrilled with it. In her area, Central New Jersey, she gets good reception from fm stations in NY, Phil, and Princeton.

Answer:	YES, that's the only mode I've operated mine in since I got it. I've not used the AC Power yet .

Question:	Does the radio come with the "optional AC power supply" or must that be bought separately
Answer:	Don't recall receiving an AC power supply. I removed the batteries and was able to recover audio by plugging a USB cable into the "USB in 5v" jack. Seems like an acceptable AC power source to me.
Question:	Is radio High Def
Answer:	HD Radio is noted as being High Density, not High Definition. High Density allows digital sub channels within the same bandwidth. This radio does not demodulate or decode HD Radio format stations.
Question:	Does radio come with AC adapter or is that extra
Answer:	AC adapter does NOT come with the radio. It is extra @ Amazon for $14.99. Two AA Batteries last 60 to 70 hours if radio is played at moderate volume. As an emergency radio, I would stock up on a few AA Batteries when power is not available. Also, buy the insurance plan for only $4. Total repair or replacement at no charge. Also, a great radio for camping. Reception would be the only question.
Question:	The listing here says the shipping weight is "0.3 ounces". Does anyone know what this actually weighs? (considering for ditch bag, so weight matters
Answer:	With two standard AA batteries installed the entire unit ( including the little strap )weighs exactly 228 grams or 8.0 ounces. ( 0.502 pounds)
