3 best gaming power supply

A gaming power supply, also known as a gaming PSU (Power Supply Unit), is a critical component of a gaming PC setup. It's responsible for providing a consistent and reliable flow of electrical power to all the components inside your computer. Here's what you need to know about gaming power supplies:

  1. Wattage: The wattage rating of a gaming power supply is one of the most crucial factors to consider. It determines how much power the PSU can deliver to your components. For gaming PCs, it's recommended to have a PSU with sufficient wattage to accommodate your components, especially if you have a high-end graphics card and multiple drives. A common range for gaming setups is 500W to 850W or more.

  2. Efficiency Rating: Power supplies come with efficiency ratings, usually certified by 80 PLUS (e.g., 80 PLUS Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium). Higher-rated PSUs are more energy-efficient and waste less power as heat, which can lead to reduced energy bills and less heat generated in your PC.

  3. Modularity: Some gaming power supplies offer modular or semi-modular designs. Modular PSUs allow you to connect only the cables you need, reducing clutter and improving airflow within your PC case. This can make cable management easier and enhance overall aesthetics.

  4. Connectors: Ensure that the power supply has the necessary connectors for your components, including the motherboard, CPU, graphics card, and storage drives. High-end graphics cards may require multiple PCIe connectors.

  5. Brand and Quality: Choose a reputable brand known for producing reliable power supplies. Quality matters because a poorly built PSU can lead to system instability and, in extreme cases, damage to your components.

  6. Overclocking Support: If you plan to overclock your CPU or GPU for better gaming performance, make sure the power supply can handle the increased power demands.

  7. Cooling and Noise: Some gaming PSUs come with larger fans or advanced cooling systems to keep the unit cool and quiet, which can be particularly important for gaming setups.

  8. Protection Features: Look for PSUs with protection features such as over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), short-circuit protection (SCP), and over-temperature protection (OTP). These safeguards help prevent damage to your components in case of power surges or other issues.

  9. Warranty: Consider the length of the warranty provided with the power supply. Longer warranties often indicate the manufacturer's confidence in the product's durability.

  10. Future-Proofing: If you plan to upgrade your gaming PC in the future with more powerful components, it's a good idea to invest in a slightly higher wattage PSU than you currently need to ensure compatibility with future upgrades.

Selecting the right gaming power supply is crucial for the stability and performance of your gaming PC.It's essential to assess your PC's power requirements, choose a PSU with the appropriate wattage and efficiency rating, and ensure it has the necessary connectors for your components. Additionally, investing in a high-quality, reliable power supply can help protect your gaming rig from potential electrical issues.

Question: how many sata plugs are there
Answer: 1 crease across the middle where the canvas was folded, but it didn't pose a problem
Question: Will this psu work with a 8+4 cpu power pins

Defective parts/products will be replaced at no charge, minus the cost of one-way freight to our facilities. This warranty DOES NOT cover product issues caused by anything other than defects in material and workmanship, and DOES NOT include: Extended warranties purchased from retailers Any damage due to improper installation, modification, misuse, negligence, repair, abuse, or accidents Acts of nature such as earthquake, fire, flooding, lightning, etc. Failure to follow product instructions Product compatibility issues Failure in performing preventative maintenance procedures Non-Apevia parts received as part of a custom build Modified products Products missing serial numbers or warranty stickers/labels Shipping and transportation damages Any incidental or consequential damages to other components claimed to be caused by any Apevia product Any area or purchase out side of USA and Canada "Warranty void if removed" sticker been removed or cut off If a defect is found to exist, Apevia will replace the product with a tested, fully-functional unit. Question: Will the 750w be able to handle a 1080 ti and a amd ryzen
Answer: For your information, the Apevia Prestige Gaming PSU is not modular.
Question: can I do gtx 960 sli with this power supply
Answer: It should be a 20 pin or 20+2 for mobo power connector. 4 pin is power for CPU and other components. Will it fit your mobo? Well im sure you know it doesnt go on the mobo, right? If your mobo is an ATX, then the case should use an ATX power supply. The ATX form factor is a consistent set of dimensions that have nothing to do with brand. As long as your case is designed for ATX, then an ATX power supply like this and any other brand of psu labeled as "ATX" will fit.
Question: does it have enough pin for a 5700xt it takes both 6 and 8 pin togheter to power it
Answer: I have already installed the PSU and did not note the UL number. But l did check Andyson's as a supplier to the US. Apevia only uses Andyson according to the official supplier documents. And Andyson only manufactures for two brands to the US. Apevia and EVGA. I don't feel like taking my computer apart, but maybe one weekend I'll try to see if there is a UL number. For all intents - the specs exactly match Andyson and so does Apevia's official supplier lists.
