Answer:	If you use it to move air into the stove pipe from an outside source, the fan can be outside with a duct that enters the stove pipe midway. This would act like a venturi to force air upward. Think about adding a 45 degree t to your pipe and using this fane to draw cold air from outside and forcing it upwards in the pipe. You don't waste warm air and you get a really stoked fire.

Answer:	You can hook up a speed control but it does not work very good and was not designed for one. When you start cutting down the power, the fan struggles and eventually stops leaving a loud humming or buzzing sound which does not sound good for the fan and may pose a fire hazard. If you want a variable controlled fan, just buy a fan that has variable control. I made the mistake of buying variable control with this fan. I ended up buying another fan that I could use this variable control on and it is more powerful and much quieter.

Answer:	When you using a HPS light..you need .3 (point three) to remove heat.For example....1000 watts X .3 is 300...so you will need 300 CFM worth of filters to remove heat.The fan has to push more than 300CFM,like 750 CFM and it helps to know what the fan pushes out.Then you remove smell with the rest of the CFM.

Answer:	Id say it depends on whether its an intake fan or an exhaust fan and how big the booth is. If its a small paint booth for small parts that isnt a lot of heavy spraying I'd say it would be perfect as either exhaust or intake. It can move a decent volume of air and fairly quietly. But if its a bigger booth, and heavy spraying i would recommend something a bit more heavy duty. Or at least bigger.

I have one installed in a basement closet where it pulls air under the door and vents the exhaust outside, which is skimming the bottom air where the radon gas lies, since it is heavier than air. Answer:	I tried a competing brand for pretty much the same unit\size. The metal blades may have made the unit louder so i tried this one with the plastic blades. i'm guessing the unit is cheaper as well since no labor is needed to balance a plastic fan wheel. back to power usage... it peaks above 200 Watts while ramping up and settles down to 140 Watts. I'm using it as a attic duct booster fan wih 8 inch duct on either end. Maybe having funny air helps the fan relax but in my situation, it just sits in the attic pushing air from my HVAC with no added static pressure in or out. I'm surprised by the oversight on the wattage being about 50% higher than posted. running a fan 24/7 can make a difference think about the money we spend to dump a perfectly good light bulb for a LED bulb just to save 50 watts 6 hours a day. air flow is good and noise is more of an personal observation based on how you installed it. i'm happy and time will tell how far past warrenty its designed for ;-)

That would be 132 watts at full speed so one could conclude an approximate watt draw of 66 watts. This heatsink fits perfectly on my Intel BOXDH77EB motherboard. My case is a Silverstone ML03. I actually have two of these, same case, same motherboard. They're quiet, have real metal screws and haven't given me any problems.
