12 best antec tower fans

Antec is a well-known company in the computer hardware industry, and they have a reputation for producing high-quality computer components and accessories, including tower fans. Tower fans in this context typically refer to fans used for cooling computer cases and internal components. Here's what we can tell you about Antec tower fans:

  1. Cooling Efficiency: Antec tower fans are designed to improve the overall cooling performance of a computer system. These fans help dissipate heat generated by internal components like the CPU, GPU, and power supply, ensuring that the system operates at optimal temperatures.

  2. Quiet Operation: Antec often emphasizes the noise level of their tower fans, striving to provide efficient cooling without generating excessive noise. Many of their fans feature advanced blade designs and bearings to reduce noise levels during operation.

  3. Size and Compatibility: Antec offers a range of tower fan sizes to suit different computer case sizes and configurations. They provide options for both 120mm and 140mm fans, which are common sizes for case cooling.

  4. LED Lighting: Some Antec tower fans come with built-in LED lighting to add a stylish aesthetic to your computer case. These LED lights can be customized to match your preferred color scheme or theme.

  5. Build Quality: Antec typically uses durable materials and construction methods for their tower fans to ensure longevity and reliability. This helps ensure that the fans will operate effectively over an extended period.

  6. Mounting Options: Antec tower fans come with various mounting options, including standard screw mounts and anti-vibration rubber mounts. This flexibility allows users to choose the best installation method for their specific case.

  7. Additional Features: Depending on the specific model, Antec tower fans may include additional features such as PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) support for fine-tuning fan speeds, easy installation mechanisms, and compatibility with motherboard fan control systems.

When considering an Antec tower fan for your computer system, it's important to check the specific model's specifications and compatibility with your case and motherboard to ensure it meets your cooling needs. Additionally, consider the aesthetics and noise level of the fan to ensure it fits your preferences and requirements for your PC build.

Answer: About like any online part - and a $60 part at that - not worth the hassle to go through - other then Amazon's regular included warranty.
Question: douse it have a reset button on the case
Answer: I do not believe the marquis 7000 would use a pump with this pressure. The only one I have seen this installed on would not keep running. It took a 1 to 3 pound pressure pump that looked almost identical.
Question: Can an extra 120 mm reverse fan be purchased
Answer: I have bought 4 of them and don't know that they never tripped a breaker
Question: What is the gpu dimension support

User questions & answers

Question: Does this case have usb 3.0 ports? It would be the blue colored ports in front
Answer: Don't know. When you say the lift pump proved defective. Is this on your vehicle or was there a known problem. I removed one for a 99 Ford F800 with a cummins, and installed the P74213. I figure if it lasted from 99 to 13, its life cycle had come to an end.
Question: The previous version of this case had front audio ground loop noise issue. Has this been resolved in this version
Answer: The first one they sent was wrong - when I called they resent the correct one and it worked and fit all my oem lines and fittings
Question: How do the optional fans mount, and are necessary mounting parts (e.g. clips, screws) included and are they easily accessible
Answer: Yes
Question: Is there a PSU that comes with it
Answer: I purchased and replaced on my own. Truck fired right up! It's been almost one year and no issues. Be sure to use the new gasket they send.

User questions & answers

Question: How loud are these fans? Are they very loud or rather quiet
Answer: 3 pin non pwm. The case cones with a controller included that can handle 5 or 6 3 pin fans (fans will spin full speed) and 5 or 6 rgb 3 pin 5v devices. The hub wires to a motherboard (asus, msi, and 2 others) with a 3 pin 5v header. The hub is powered off sata on your psu. If your mono cant control the rgb it can be dobe with a button on the case. But fans are 3 pin and 5v argb 3 pin.
Question: How can i connect this to my asrock b450m pro
Answer: No but most of your newer motherboards will have a BIOS setting where you can dictate the behavior of the power button to act as a reset button.
Question: How many amps per fan
Answer: Yes
Question: Can someone explain how to connect these to the motherboard to be able to change the rpm
Answer: The max GPU lenght is 405mm (15.94 inches)

User questions & answers

Question: Is there a dust cover on the front intake
Answer: There are at least two versions of this case. The older version, which my wife and I have had since 2008 (12 years, and going strong!) has two USB 2.0 ports and a Firewire port on the top front panel, along with headphones, microphone, power, and reset. It does NOT have a chrome trim around the side panel window (which shows in the picture here on Amazon). It had two removable drive bays holding three 3.5" drives each, with blue Tri-Power 120mm Antec fans (of which 50% have now failed, after 12 years use; we replaced those fans just this past month), one 200mm fan (unlighted) on top, and a single 120mm Tri-Power (unlit) Antec fan in back. There is an additional 120mm fan slot for the window, but no fan was included. Including the non-removable top area, there are a total of 9 bays, three purely 3.5", three that can be 5.25", 3.5", a floppy drive, or some combination of the three. I can't speak to these "extra fan" areas beyond that.... the system can support 5 total fans, 2 front, one top, one rear, one side window. There are cutouts in the back (grommeted with nice, protective rubber) for external watercooling, if that's your thing. I do know later iterations (those with the chrome trim) changed from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 ports for the top front panel. Some are suggesting that there are additional mounting points for 1, 2, or even 3 additional fans. I can see possibly mounting an additional fan in the top bay (which the picture isn't showing for the new product) if you had a third removable bay, which may/may not be in the newer version of the case. Mine is now on it's 4th Motherboard/CPU build; my wife's is on her 4th, as well. They've taken us from an Athlon II to a Ryzen 5. I have little doubt we'll still be using the case, rehabilitated again, ten years from now. These are REALLY good cases. I just wish there were an easy was to swap out the USB 2.0 to USB 3.2 on the top!
Question: is it safe to put this computer on its side, or does have to be standing upright
Answer: I haven't had any issues with it so far and I keep and use a headset plugged in there on a daily basis. My friend also has this same case and hasn't had an issue either. If I remember right, the last case had the ground in an area that caused interference. I'm not sure if this is in the same place or not.
Question: Can you put a 240mm radiator in the top
Answer: The case i have came with two 120 mm and one 200 mm fan installed & space for another 120 mm fan in front at the expense of 3 bays which I used for CD & DVD drives. Thre large fan offers ample ventilation. However if needed the extra 120 mm fan is easy to install with all parts needed. I keep it as a spare.
Question: What size liquid cooling system would best fit this case
Answer: You will need your own PSU. It will be bottom mounted, and may need to be mounted upside down depending on the PSU's fan orientation, if any. There is no bottom vent on the case so the internal PSU fan will either suck from or exhaust directly into the case. I can't imagine a PSU that won't fit in there, though.

User questions & answers

Question: Would this case hold 5 hdds and 1 blu ray drive
Answer: I used on of these to replace a dead fan in my system and it's been great so far. Very quiet in my opinion. Ultimately, any fan's noise level is going to be mostly based on the RPM you've got it set to.
Question: Will this case work with amd motherboards
Answer: Adapter (molex to pin), power supply or fan controller card, your choice.
Question: Is it usb 2.0 or 3.0? i saw it elsewhere and it said
Answer: That is something that is not listed in the specs. The only way to tell is to measure it yourself, but it is certainly very low due to the fact that it is 12V DC with very little resistance I=E/R.
Question: how many sticks of ram can this hold
Answer: If you have a motherboard with the 4 pin PWM connectors you can plug these directly on the motherboard and use the software that came with the board. You can even use 3 pin fans and still be able to use the software to control them. You can also use a fan controller, so you have plenty of options to be able to use them. I have 6 fans hooked up to my board and I can go into the fan settings to set the speed, or let the software automatically do it for me depending on the temps.

User questions & answers

Question: The product description says "liquid cooling radiators" are included. is this correct? did buyers receive the radiators with the purchase as listed
Answer: Mine didn't come with a dust cover.
Question: Are the feet of the P110 easily removable? I'd like to mod the case to lay on its side
Answer: You can put it on a side, it's not a problem. We have more square cases that would look better on a side, we can offer you a few to pick from for free. Centaurus Computers
Question: Can the lags of the case be removed
Answer: No. It would have to be a thin one and you can’t dual the fans. The Luce 110 has even more top space and I couldn’t put dual fans on the rad. Hope this helps
Question: What should i buy to replace the window panel screws with custom ones? I can't find any that fit
Answer: I fit my 280 mm in there no problem

User questions & answers

Question: Does this case come with any colored fans
Answer: It does. 5 designated HDD slots, 3 drive bays (Blu-ray drive, hot hard drive bay, etc), plus 2 additional bays that on the face look like mini bays but internal can hold full size drives. So 10 in all.
Question: Where do i mount my optical drive on antec df500 rgb
Answer: I have built many computers with this case.. all of them AMD and just recently 2 RYZEN's. You should not have any issues.
Question: How is the airflow from the front? Would it be easy to take off the tinted panel from the front panel, and how would it look
Answer: Yes, you actually did read USB 2.0 in the description, and someone at Amazon made a mistake. Also, no disrespect intended, but the first answer to your question is incorrect. According to Antec's own web site, there is supposed to be 2 audio (1 - headphone, and 1 - microphone) connections, and 2 - USB 3.0 ports. I have no idea where Amazon got the picture from, maybe an old media packet was downloaded by accident from Antec's web site? Either that or the lighting and angle are terrible because USB 3.0 ports are required to be blue in accordance with the current standards. There may be exceptions, but blue is required for consumer grade products. Also to clarify, USB 2.0 and 3.0 are standards, and have nothing whatsoever to do with motherboards, as far as engineering is concerned. Semiconductor companies manufacture USB Host Controllers, more commonly referred to as "chipsets". USB can also be integrated into other chips. The main chipset for the motherboard may have it built into the chipset. Some CPU's now have the USB controller on the same die, which is very common with today's smartphones. A USB device is backwards compatible with a USB 2.0 port, and a USB 3.0 port is backwards compatible with an older device, partially due to the difference in pins. So whether you're looking to buy a new computer case or motherboard, there will be a blue multi-pin connector on the motherboard to connect to the blue end of the cable that connects to the USB 3.0 ports on the front of this case. If it's not blue, then it's not USB 3.0, is the easiest way to remember it.
Question: Does the case have screws for the motherboard
Answer: Man, It just depends.. I mean If i had like several bags of old ram, I would literally unload every stick of ram around my shop into this case just to see how many sticks it could hold. My guess , I could probably pack around 400-500 sticks of miscellaneous ram into this case, before damaging them :) hope this answers your question!

User questions & answers

Question: In what order are the Case dimensions
Answer: No they will accommodate the coolers only. Good question!
Question: I don't suppose the packaging includes a 2.5'' media card reader front panel adapter in addition to a 2.5''->3.5'' risers
Answer: Yes.
Question: Will this fit a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
Answer: I have long since sold my build with this but I'm pretty sure you can. Check around on reviews just to be safe.
Question: Where are the 2.5" drive bays? And can I Install an SSD into the case without a converter
Answer: You want to replace the hidden screws holding the tempered glass in place? It came with extras? Also, you can probably take the screw to a hardware or computer store and they can probably help you determine what size and type it is. It appears to be a standard PC case screw to me though...

User questions & answers

Question: is this price for one thing
Answer: on the fans are not cored the picture is misleading although I' happy with my case and would buy again when and if I need a new case. I have 4 computers in my home network and that case is my work station for broadcasting live radio show over the internet
Question: Does this come with screws to mount things
Answer: Use a free 3.5” bay, pop the cover out of the case, run Sata cable from drive to motherboard sata port. The top two bays should be fine.
Question: Will the Cooler Master Nepton 280L fit in this case
Answer: It looks odd, but it lowers internal temperature by around 7•Celsius
Question: Does this have SSD mounts, or just 3.5" slots for a mounting kit
Answer: yes great case i absolutely love it. i put 3 fans in front, dual fan liquid cooler on top and one in back that came with it. but it isnt a case for you if you plane on putting disc drive in since there was no place for it that i could see. but i never use it anyway everything i do is digital download or flashdrive.
