Answer:	Yes, after downgrading my firmware to 1.00 MakeMKV like everyone says, it still could not decrypt the disc. I also tried AnyDVD and it couldn't either. The firmware downgrade worked because I successfully performed a rip with DVDFab with no issues whatsoever. Unfortunately, AnyDVD and MakeMKV haven't figured it out yet.

Answer:	While I'm unsure about the amout of Sata ports on you motherboard, if you are looking to fully replace your disc drive then it should be compatible. My windows immediately found and installed the appropriate drivers.
Question:	Does this fit in a 3.5 bay
Answer:	Yes, it's a standard size that reads DVD's and Blu-ray discs and fits in a standard bay in a desktop style enclosure. It will not fit in most laptops, and it is NOT what they call a "half-height" so beware and check what type of slot you have before buying. Seeing that someone else answered "requires a 5.25 bay", I thought I better elaborate- obviously the slot you want to put this in has to be at least the width of a blu-ray or DVD disc- they measure 4.25inches - there is an industry standard that applies to hard drives and perhaps some smaller removable drives, floppy disks etc that can actually fit a smaller space, called a 3.5" space that truly is 3.5" and will NOT work. Measure twice, cut once.
Question:	Did anyone get a full version of Nero
Answer:	I believe it came with a trial version of Nero 12 but I never loaded it. I was already using Nero 14.

Answer:	The description on here does not say. I purchased this in 2016 and did not keep the box and documentation. I would seriously doubt it, but you would probably want to check out the manufacturer's website to verify. However, if you are looking for a good quality blu ray player that will last, this is not it. First off, the free software it comes with is a joke. In order to do anything (burn or even play blu ray discs), you need to purchase the full version of the program or use something else. I decided to keep it but did not end up using it for much other than ripping cds to my computer, since I don't usually watch movies on my PC. . Which brings me to my second point, it did not get used much but stopped reading any type of disc after only 2 years. Compared to my HP dvd burner that I've had for nearly 10 years now that still runs great. And if you were wondering, yes, I did uninstall/reinstall drivers and whatnot.

Answer:	I would recommend the free application ImgBurn. It supports BDLX, M-DISC and many other formats. Nero Burning ROM does support M-DISC, however you will need the full version. Nero Burning ROM 2019 and Nero Platinum Suite are two of their products that support M-DISC.

Question:	Does this work with windows
Answer:	It should work with Windows 8 though I only used with Windows 10. If you insert a DVD and a video player does not start up, you may need a player that will recognize the drive. On a recommendation from a friend, I installed "VLC media player" and this app opens when I insert a DVD into the Riodadas player. VLC is a free and open source media player that works with all Windows versions. You can get the player here: https://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Question:	Can this be used to install windows 10 without the need to somehow install a driver first? it's rather tough to do that when trying to install an os
Answer:	This is basically a laptop optical drive in an external case with USB connection. I would think so. If the installation disk contains the installation software and the computer can access a USB device then it should. Changes to the boot device may be required.
Question:	Does this play games like sims
Answer:	It's played all my games without so much of a skip.
Question:	Does this work on macs
Answer:	Won't work with Mac 10.15.7! It was working before; now it seems useless. I see someone else is having this issue.
